I'll be keeping you in my prayers RR.....hoping everything will work out fine!

Dr. said I should be 99% okay. Couldn't guarantee it, but that will do for now. Wants me to see an internist (never have) to make sure that my health is okay (ugh!). Will have the surgery in his office on Monday. Told him I'd rest for a day or two after...then take it day by day. I know, I'm stubborn.
Thank you so much for your prayers. You don't know how much it means to me.

I apologize RR. I just realized I've lost a day somewhere (lol, it's probably with my mind), and today is Thursday, not Wednesday.

So glad to hear this good news and I definitely get the 'stubborn' part, but please don't over exert yourself. Your longterm health is more important than anything. Believe me, because I'm an old person and I know. :D

Prayers RR. XOXOXO

Ok, am I the only person that just keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop? I just have this nagging feeling that it won't be long before we hear some type of news. I swear I can feel it in my bones.

Only happy thoughts. Only happy thoughts.

I needed that. I started to have an itch.

Everybody purchases the items you mentioned in Florida pays those taxes. They are not exclusive to Florida residents. By your reasoning even tourists from, say Europe, paid for the defense team.

Well duh.

OK, I'm going to the store for chocolate. I feel a visit from my friend is near.

Hey thanks for showing up and giving us some word on how you are doing so far - we have all been worrying and worrying about you but don't want to be pests and keep asking you!! :blowkiss:

Yuck...

"i would like to dedicate my book to my daughter Caylee...who i murdered so i can party". :what:

Seriously? If, right after the state filed charges against Casey Anthony, she claimed Caylee died an accidental death, the state would have dropped all charges and said, oh, ok, we won't try you?

You've mentioned the counties thing re Jeff before - I think everyone gets that - but the rest of Florida didn't have their blinders on watching this case so I'm pretty sure they know who Jeff Ashton is.

Isn't the point why pay for a three year jail stay and a lengthy and expensive defense if this was all going to be claimed as an accident at trial. What was the reasoning behind using that tax money when the legal budgets of these counties are overburdened already. IMO

Records show the Orange County Clerk of Courts Office will pay most costs associated with the trial, as mandated by state statute. The Orange County Sheriff's Office will pick up the bill for most of the security.

I am not going to comment on this post because if I do I will surely get an all expenses paid "vacation". However, I will let ABC News do it for me. Please note, it says "state of Florida", NOT Orange County. We all (Floridians) have paid for this circus. This isn't just MOO...it's a FACT.

http://http://abcnews.go.com/US/casey_anthony_trial/casey-anthony-trial-costs-defense-team-charges-state/story?id=14125305

"Casey Anthony's defense team has billed the state of Florida over $147,000 to defend the woman acquitted of murdering her daughter, Caylee."

"The state has already paid $118,847.75 of that bill. They've refused to pay nearly $12,000 of the defense's cost."

Perhaps if Casey had taken the opportunity to tell LE that Caylee had died in an accidental drowning when she was given the chance to during the conversation they had with her at Universal then Casey would not have been arrested that day. Better yet, if Casey had not lied about the nanny, the job, the phone, the boss, the co-workers, etc then Casey would not have been arrested that day. Can't blame that on anyone but Casey. Even Cindy reminded her of that.......before she realized that their recorded phone calls between jail and home would be released to the public.

MOO

Wow - how about right after the so-called accident happened, or even the night the LE came calling and she led them on a wild goose chase and told a bunch of stories - then would have been a good time.IMO

Oh...No...Wait...she couldn't tell the LE that night - small matter of duct tape over the face and garbage bags...and a swamp dumping ground.

well now - remember how well she did completing that English assignment for graduation...

But KC never did claim her daughter drowned. To this day she has not said that happened, only JB said it happened that way. Had KC told LE where Caylee's body was that very first night she was interviewed the ME would have been able to determine the manner of death. But she didn't do that. The big WHY is obvious. KC gambled that time was on her side and she won. She just has to live with that. At some point it will catch up with her.

If you wait long enough everything comes back on you. jmo

Good lord it will read like letters to Cookie from Muffin. A whole chapter on how her nose got infected when she had the piercing done. :floorlaugh:

Rossva - Do you believe Casey is innocent?

(I'm an occasional reader here, not enough to know where you stand, so the answer to your question may be obvious to some. But, I'm curious to hear a yea or nay from you)

Me too IM! I have had this feeling for about a week now. Can't really explain it but something in the air is thick.

RR this is such great news!!!!!! I don't think it could have been any better.

I should hope the state would not have responded that way! After all, there wasn't any evidence at all it was an accident. Infact didn't JB say we may never know how Caylee died???
There was over whelming evidence it was a murder though. IMO

Would you please be so kind as to provide a link to that state statute? I've been looking for it for over an hour and haven't come across it yet. And also could you possibly provide a link to the records that you're speaking about?
