Here is a difficult question.

Did Sandra Osbourne know that there "was" a Firefox history that had not been translated or accessed?

Yes, because the files were handed over to the defense prior to trial. OCSO never looked at them. Baez's team did.

"The prosecutor requested browser history from the sheriff, but it came two months before the trial and wasn't very specific or forceful. The sheriff's office told Local 6 it tried and failed to extract the browser and provided less than two percent of the day's activities."

Was there anything else other than this search that was found in the files? Any other conversations she had with friends or searches that we don't know about?

I agree with all that has been said about the state not taking that extra step on this one crucial piece of evidence. However, I don't know if it would have made a difference with this jury. They said that they all thought George "did something".....and with that mindset, it would boil down to whether or not you believe JB on the time stamp, or not.

IIRC - did the state even put into evidence George's work records for that day? I don't think they did.

So IMHO it still boils down to what camp you are in, who you believe or disbelieve.

For some reason, the supporters have it in their mind that GEORGE lied, that GEORGE committed this murder, that GEORGE is/was the guilty one.

Then we have....us. :banghead:

Happy Thanksgiving, friends.

But don't you love the way Jose keeps saying you can't put someone in front of a computer, but that's exactly what he's doing with George.

I think you can if that person has signed into a password protected account.
I doubt George was given access to Casey's passwords.

Color me confused...Maybe I need more coffee... If they failed to extract the browser and provided less than two percent of the day's activities and 17 Internet Explorer items were given versus 1247 Firefox items that were missed then how were those files turned over to the defense? :waitasec:

Okay - I'm a little calmer - not much - but doubt I'll run around in circles screaming like I was ready to do an hour and a half ago.

I wanted to see Jose put on the spot - about being wrong about the AIM account and the computer time. I wanted Tony to ask Jose if he still stands by his statements about George when in all likelyhood these searches were made by FCA as Baez stated he knew for sure that GA was at work by that time.

I wanted Tony to ask Baez after the fact how he feels about helping hide evidence so an person who is most likely a baby killer has gone free. I would even have liked it if he's asked Baez if he thought George would sue him for defamation of character.

And I sure would have liked it if Tony had stopped taking credit for the computer searches and put much more emphasis on the work AZLawyer and JWG did - a lot more - the lack of it made me the most angry of all.
Oh yeah, and being forced to watch that much of Baez again because I wanted to see this report. Never again!!

I hear ya LG....

I highly doubt that JB would have agreed to partisipate in these interviews with TP if he knew hard questions were going to be asked of him. I did not watch this 2nd part, as I smelled a rat when the tone of new articles leanded towards pointing fingers at the SA/LE. I just have no need to listen to JB anymore. I don't care what he says - I just don't. He is vomit inducing for me, like week old garbage.

I am very pleased that AZLawyer and JWG were credited with finding this incriminating evidence. Such tenacity on both of your parts.

God bless you little Caylee. LE and the SA worked so hard for you, and we all wanted the truth to come out, but alas, somethings didn't always go the right way for whatever reasons, and it seems that this abomination continues.

Happy Turkey day all! RIP Caylee, Your incubator can hurt you NO MORE!

I thought the hard drive was copied by LE and then it was given to the defense team.

I doubt George was given access to Casey's passwords.

Actually, if I understand it correctly, several layers of password protected accounts.

The password protected Firefox session
Then password protected photobucket account
And password protected MySpace account.

I'd think that with each layer of password protected account access it would become less and less likely that "someone else" besides the owner of the accounts was at the computer accessing them. The photobucket and MySpace visits were pretty mundane, iirc.

Good morning! You are right puppyraiser my brain is just foggy from lack of sleep because this injustice and abomination is extremely disturbing.

Happy Thanksgiving friends!!!

That depends on how one has their preferences set.

If Casey had her Firefox log-in preference set to "remember my passwords for this account", then no, once she got into Firefox, the rest of the applications would be all but a click away. Seeing as how Casey is lazy, I would guess this is how hers were set.

I will have to disagree with you on this one.

Lazy, yes, but....she was living a life of lies, so I think she did not have it set to remember her passwords.

But then, maybe she only had her browser password protected and didn't think anyone in the family could access anything anyway, so you may be right.

So, who knows.

This I do know. It's too late for Caylee. :(

Maybe JWG or AZ can shed some light on this.

Happy Thanksgiving all.
Well I can say that I am glad I was in bed and did not see any of this last night. To have to look at JB's face hurts so I choose not to.
We all know what really happened anyway, even if a few little time fames are off and people are lying through their holes.
I hope they all choke on their turkey today.

Totally with you on that.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! :leaf2: :turkey: :leaf2:

You are too kind. I think dialing up OCSO and convincing them to send you the files took a bit of work, and then you invested a lot of time crawling through them...so let's just agree it was a team effort. :thumb:

Makes you wonder what else is on the computer in unallocated space. Mozilla entries between late March and early June are missing. Assuming they were not over-written by the Windows file system, they would still be out there in unallocated space. One might be able to find them by doing a search for "google", "facebook", "photobucket", or "myspace".

(Just saying)

Kudos to you and AZLawyer for uncovering this information. I had been a follower of your written work on the Casey Anthony case for some time at the Hinky. Your piece titled "Nightmare on Suburban Street" was riveting, and quite honestly blew me away.

I read the WKMG online article about this by Pipitone, and knew immediately it was you and AZ he was referring to. He really owes you both more credit for making his "bombshell" possible.

Well done!!

Good morning! You are right puppyraiser my brain is just foggy from lack of sleep because this injustice and abomination is extremely disturbing.

Happy Thanksgiving friends!!!

I would love to know why, when the State had this case for 3 whole years, they waited until the 11th hour (2 months before trial, really?!?!) to extract those files.

IMO, there is simply no excuse for that, especially knowing that Casey lived her life through social networking.

My 2nd question is, why didn't Osbourne notify Linda that they could only extract less than 2% of those files - again - knowing that there had to be more on that hard drive given Casey's lifestyle. You would think that would have been a major red flag for Osbourne.

The Jury mistrusted George so much, (thanks to George's own antics on the stand), that I truly don't believe any of this would have mattered to them nor convinced them of Casey's guilt, but it's still disgusting to know how shoddy Osbourne was both in her recovery (non)-efforts, as well as her notification to LDB.

Happy Thanksgiving all; take comfort in the fact that Caylee is in a much more loving, safer, happier place with God today than she ever was on Hopespring Drive.

This really is a bombshell.I am so upset and sick.up to now i was still thinking Caylee died because her mother went into a sudden rage or I even still thought maybe it was an accident that KC was responsible for.She premeditated and pretty much used an online tutorial to murder her beautiful child. And now she walks around free.
Thank you so much AZ and JWG,you guys are awesome but in a way I wished I would have never had to find out that the truth is even uglier and more disgusting than I could have ever imagined.
