B: Were the paramedics up there [where the bodies were] without you accompanying them? K says no he accompanied 2 medics upstairs.

Paramedics arrived to assist Marli. Kleynhans said he didn't know there were two other bodies in the bedroom.

Kleynhans took photos before two paramedics were allowed to assist Marli. Kleynhans accompanied paramedics. They saw the teenager was still alive.

Kleynhans says paramedic told him he won't disturb the scene until I had taken photos, which he did.

Kleynhans took photos of scene - Marli and her mother laying on the landing. He moved back to the bedroom doorway to take the photos, where he discovered Rudi and Martin's bodies.

That's what makes it so farcical, 2/3 people wearing balaclavas and gloves go to this house and kill the owners for no reason. Why the gloves and balaclavas, there was no point wearing them if they were not stealing anything, why kill the people? Why even break into the house when you take nothing? I know he is building a defence, but it's illogical from the outset as they often are, but I guess they only have to show reasonable doubt.
This guy actually gives me the creeps I bet he could manipulate anyone. Not his mum and dad though. Why in such a huge house did the boys share a room, was one meant to look after the other?

Exactly, and conveniently HvB was in the en suite bathroom of the room he shared with Rudi, the light would be on, but the intruder didn't notice/care and attacked Rudi while he slept.

I know everyone is entitled to a fair trial and have the right to be defended, but how counsel who specialise in acting for murderers sleep at night is something I'll never understand.

B: There has been a recorded 24 break-ins at De Zalze estate.
 
I wonder how many break-ins, murders, assaults etc have occurred in this insanely over-protected estate? You must enter through manned gates, get past the estate police, deal with electrified fences, and roaming protection officers. Mr vB is described as very safety conscious, I doubt he'd live anywhere that didn't have all those protections. Strange to think that in these places it's the residents you have to be wary of ie Pistorius.

That's what makes this so chilling, he was stone cold sober. It will be interesting when witnesses take the stand who heard arguing earlier in the night at the Van Bredas. Botha will make a mockery of them. :/
 
25 break-ins over 15 years. But Botha still hasn't told us how many murders let alone triple murders.
