Desai: You said you can't explain why Marli's DNA not on axe. How explain touch DNA? Olckers says touch DNA could be from any time.

Olckers says she can't explain further, as she is not a blood spatter expert. Her testimony is concluded and she is excused.

Defence will on Monday call neurologist Dr Du-Trevou. Court starts at 9:30.

Read onto the record! Of course, I didn't think of that, JJ! Here was I thinking J. Desai had either fallen under her spell or had gone stark, staring raving mad! There must have been times when he would have liked to give her a good slap!

I have some worries about a neurologist testifying. I wonder if HvB was examined by him? If he was HvB could have boned up on all sorts of symptoms that would/could cause fainting. I do doubt whether he will agree a faint would last hours. Usually it is minutes - once the patient falls to the ground the blood flow to the brain is restored and the patient recovers, assuming of course that they are having a simple faint and it is not due to an underlying health problem.
