"JAY'S HOME

Jay Slater’s body

flown back to UK

with family 2 months after he disappeared in Tenerife –

as funeral plans revealed.

Jay's mother Debbie Duncan made the heartbreaking journey home to the UK last week
with father Warren and Jay's brother Zak.

The teen's funeral
is now set
for Saturday, August, 10
in the Chapel at Accrington Crematorium."

"Mourners asked to wear something blue in his memory.

A touching obituary, tonight, was released on behalf of Jay's family.

The statement paid tribute to Jay,
who was described as
'a loving son', keen footballer and young man who loved to meet new people."

"The service will include a
'celebration of life'
prior to the interment.

A celebration of life service will be held at
10.30am on Saturday 10th August 2024,
at Accrington Cemetery Chapel prior to interment.

Attendants are also asked make donations in lieu of flowers to the charity LBT Global,
which provides crisis support for the families of people missing overseas."

"The 19-year-old's funeral
has been scheduled
following a postmortem in the UK
which concluded that Jay died from traumatic head injuries consistent with a fall from height."

A post-mortem examination found he died of traumatic head injuries, consistent with a fall from height. His death would have been instantaneous.

A UK-conducted post-mortem has since ascertained that Jay's fatal injuries stemmed from traumatic head impacts, likely due to a "fall from height".
According to the coroner's findings, Jay would have died immediately. In the lead-up to the memorial service slated for next weekend, the deeply grieved Slater family have extended a touching request to friends and associates.

Hundreds of mourners dressed in blue gathered amid pouring rain this morning to bid a final farewell to teenage bricklayer Jay Slater.
The 19-year-old was the subject of a huge international manhunt when he vanished in Tenerife on June 17 after attending a music festival with his mates.

Among the 500 mourners at Jay Slater's funeral was his best friend Lucy Mae Law - the last person to speak to the teenager on the day he went missing in Tenerife.

While his family and closest friends read heartwarming eulogies and poetry inside, a sea of mourners dressed in blue - Jay's favourite colour - gathered outside the chapel to watch the funeral on a large screen.

It was here that Lucy Mae remembered her friend by holding a blue rose and posting a story to her Instagram which read: 'Rest in peace buddy. You will never be forgotten.'

Jay’s mum: “the stuff about him stealing a watch is nonsense”

Yeah, there was plenty of wild speculation, but a lot of that junk was coming from that PI guy who was announcing it to the press. That's why we could even mention it on here by TOS. So yeah, internet people talked garbage, as happens, but he certainly made sure those wild rumours got maximum coverage.

Yeah, where is MWT? He lit that particular firework then buggered off.

Got his fifteen minutes and bailed.

I was so angry at what he was doing, probably because since day one, I was certain this was an accident, that Jay had died because of the environment or the elements, and I was right.

Just as predatory and narcissistic as those psychics who try to prey on the families of every high profile missing child, just without the woo and crystals.

MOO

maybe Jay can actually rest in peace now that all those disgusting rumours are being shut down
a lot of people owe Jay and his family apologies IMO
and I don't think that ridiculous PI should be given so much leeway
