OR...what if it was Stacy who was being chased? Probably not, but freaky things are happening in Bollingbrook!

Speaking of moody, depressed, pmsing...can you imagine what life was like for that poor stepdaughter (2nd wife, I think) as she went through her teen years? I bet he was really mean to her.

I know, me too. :blowkiss:

It's hard not to be sarcastic with this character. I feel more disdain for him than I think I ever did for Scott Peterson.

Hi Taximom!! I was just thinking the exact same thing, you read my mind! I think I actualy dislike him more than Scott, mainly because this guy doesn't even try to act sympathetic. Scott tried to make people like him but it didn't work, this guy DP doesn't even have sense enough to try it! Not that it would work LOL.

I had the same exact thought especially after he blamed her "taking off" on her pms. I don't know about you, but all I can think about during that time is chocolate, chocolate, chocolate........
He is definately more of a slime than West Coast Peterson, and I really didn't think that was possible.

Apprently Drew likes very young women...I hope she ( the step-daughter) had locks on her bed and bath doors!

Wonder what he has on his computers?

Yeah, my heart was breaking for her the other night on Greta. I couldn't imagine what he** he put her through. I'm going to put this thought out there as well. I had it watching her interview... I wonder if he ever tried anything with her? He married Staey when she was 17 so her obviously liked young women. Not that I would ever wish that for someone, but at the same time - I wouldn't put anything past this CREEP. Know what i mean?

I wonder if Stacy had any "favorite"places close to where she lived? If so, that would be one of the first places they should search. It doesn't sit well with me that he keeps saying "she's where she wants to be."
I hope he gets caught up in the media "spotlight" like snotty scott did, it will be Drew's downfall as well

Good post. The "she is where she wants to be" made me think of her sister that recently died of cancer. Being that Stacy was deeply depressed of her death perhaps she had said several times she wished it was her or wanted to be with her. Maybe she's buried on top of her.
Ok I really think I need to step away from this case for a bit lol.

I was posting my same thoughts as your were posting yours...;)

Were they included in the search warrant? anyone know?

hey ya know - i agree with you.

Stranger things have happened.

Did DP (in the interview with Matt Lauer) say that Stacy had asked him for a divorce on Oct 26th? Did I hear that correctly? All the more reason for him to get rid of her asap then...

I wonder how much life insurance he had out on Stacy?

I missed the live interview and just finished watching the taped interview. Drew said Stacy always asked him for a divorce when she got upset about something.......that it coincided with her periods.

Ooooh, now that would be just freaky enough to be worth looking at. Yuck!

OMG I have firmly believed he was behind it the whole time but after watching the END of that video, where he doesnt even look in the camera, as he laughs "come home".......I have no doubt in my mind he did it.

I think his motive for doing that interview was to get a cheaper lawyer. All he cares about is money.

I wonder if Geragos will step up to the plate on his defense. :)

Ok, I haven't seen the video yet. But just the quote that she asked for a divorce and he thought it was her menstrual cycle. He hasn't got a clue!

He could have said depression due to grief.
He could have said they had been growing apart.
He could have even said he thought that going to school at the same time as being a wife and mother might have been too much for her.

But nooooo he had to pick her menstrual cycle!

lol, he just made an enemy of every woman in America!

Of course he would never admit it might be due to his controlling behavior.
Of course he would never admit it might be due to his abuse.
Of course he would never admit it might be due to the fact that she was becoming mature and needing people her own age.

Noooo it was her menstrual cycle!

I do have to give him a tiny bit of credit though. He has finally backed off from saying they had a good marriage!

Yes............when the Illinois state police held their press conference (a week ago?) they stated that both computers had been confiscated and said something about the computers would be a big part of the investigation.

I can't remember which thread it's in, but someone gave an excellent synopsis of that presser. That should be placed in one of the sticky threads.

Thanks Leila - I'm one my way to check it out.

Possible theories we have come up with on the interest in the computers is:

Stacy may have kept a journal on them.
DP may have said she was having an "internet affair" and they need to disprove
DP may have been into *advertiser censored*
