I read the posts, and the last links are to Greta's blog, but the article she wrote is not about Victoria and her boyfriend being murdered. It is about Stacy being at Denny's.

Did Greta remove the article about VIctoria?

I slept in late this morning, so I came in late to that exchange. I think the info came from a poster at Greta. Long story short, I think it's from a Natl Enq article and another poster at WS is going to follow up on that. Crazy if true huh?

IF it's true, and IF the man was killed while he was dating DP's ex, then DP is surrounded by dead and missing people who apparently had reasons not to like him. I think we usually call people who make several other people die or disappear serial killers..

I hope this isn't true. It's almost too bizarre, like the other guy's supposed suicide.

Kinda what Ric said. Alot of weird stuff surrounding Drew. There is also an Erica at the Trib investigating a missing person case from the 80's that Drew had a connection to somehow.

I want to know why DrewP only gets "choked up" around his buddy, Steve. This time it was when he read anonymous's letter to Steve over the phone. Well, to Steve's credit it only "sounded like" he was choking up about 3 different times as he read it.

Steve, buddy, you are being used! You can't tell me there's not one itty bitty part of you that isn't wondering about all of Drew's bad luck, can you?! He doesn't care about anyone but himself, Steve. I hope you watch your back.

Investigators seek FBI's help in Peterson case

The FBI is expected to join the search for missing Bolingbrook mother Stacy Peterson early next week, opening the possibility of "technical assistance of the U.S. Navy" if needed, a spokesman for the Will County state's attorney said Friday.

Charles Pelkie said investigators asked the federal agency for help in putting more searchers on the hunt and to lend its expertise if required.

The next issue was and is on news stand yesterday but I do not get the current on the news stand issue in my mailbox until next Tuesday!!!!

No mention of Victoria in the issue that I have.

There is a separate story in the issue I have, with background of red, that states,
"New Investigation into Suspicious death of Ex-wife, AND AND is only about Kathleen Savio. In the same article about Kathleen only it says, Woman's body to be exhumed and re-examined."

Boy old DP is looking at some long long years behind bars - IF IF LE puts all the pieces together.

Would they put him behind bars ASAP or WAIT until they have all the pieces of all the puzzles put together for other crimes? I am guessing they just put him in the slammer ASAP, huh?

BOLINGBROOK -- The tightlipped law has kept a lid on a neighbor's report of Drew Peterson allegedly loading a large barrel into the back of his Denali soon after his wife vanished, but the former cop's brother says he didn't lend a hand.
"I don't know anything about it," said Paul Peterson, the brother of recently retired police Sgt. Drew Peterson, when asked about reports of a neighbor telling police that Drew and another man hauled a mysterious blue barrel from his residence to his Denali. (more at link)

Doesn't look like the top "pops" off though. It's hard to tell from the picture.

There might be large, blue barrels with powdered chlorine where the top comes off.

Surely someone would remember him buying this off-season from any local pool supplies store.

I imagine a whole barrel would be something a pool-cleaning company would buy though, as you wouldn't need this much for your average pool, right?

Am trying to get caught up reading. But wanted to say I have a pool & hasn't been opened recently. The blue barrels it comes in is usually used for dry chlorine....it is much cheaper to but in the 35 to 55 gallon size.

I am sure he could buy liquid chlorine in big containers like that too. Our pool place buys it like that & sells it to customers in 5 gallon containers.

Ric Mims is the one who talked about Monika and Steve, but never gave last names - I don't know why the media hasn't continued with that investigation. A search of Ill. unsolved murders only turned up one possible candidate - a man born in 1954 who is the right age - but there wasn't enough info to find out more. Their records might be inadequate.

The other story about wife no. 2's boyfriend is (according to a Gretawire poster) from the Enquirer - when I go out later, I will try to find the article. I don't know if the Enquirer ever gets anything right however.

The search for Stacy Peterson resumes Saturday morning, as authorities wonder whether a large blue barrel might hold the answer to her disappearance.

As CBS 2's Rafael Romo reports, volunteers were to gather at 9 a.m. at the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Center, at 200 S. Lindsey Lane in the southwest suburb. The search will focus on lakes, rivers and other bodies of water in the area, after revelations that Stacy's husband, former Bolingbrook police Sgt. Drew Peterson, was seen loading a large barrel into his sport-utility vehicle.
