:waitasec: I was just wondering about something -- which may have already been discussed here (I am so sorry but I have not been able to read all the threads here) ...

But, is it possible that Susan may have found out what her "sick" and "perverted" father-in-law  was up to ? And, does anyone think that Joshua KNOWS what "daddy" was up to ?

TIA !

I'd bet my farm on the fact that Josh Powell knew perfectly well what kind of sick stuff his daddy was into.

Here you go,

I think LE is applying the "divide and conquer" technique and expect an arrest for JP on the horizon as well.

there were folders that also contained many graphic images of Steven Powell himself.

Lera, it's time to get out the eye bleach again!!!

The shallow grave at Topaz was only three feet long, and about two feet deep. That's not big enough to have buried her there that night. His kids were with him as well. The advantage of driving at night is that if he got pulled over, Susan could have had a blanket over her and resembled someone asleep, so an officer would not suspect foul-play.

Driving about half-way to give Steven Powell the body would explain this pretty well, IMO. He could have then delivered her remains back to JP dismembered, which would then fit that size of grave.

I would also thoroughly search his back-yard for a buried skull or other body part he wanted to keep around as a "trophy."

MOO.

Please don't hit me. But I just got to thinking.

To take a child into protective custody they have to have evidence that the child is in danger. Living with a parent who allegedly killed their mother isn't enough legally. Murder suspects bond out and retain custody of their children all the time.

Their grandfather is accused of taking and keeping possession of child *advertiser censored*. But the grandfather is removed from the home and none of the pictures have been alleged to be from the children themselves. And currently there isn't any indication of harm ever coming to the children. Ok children who are sexually abused by the father often continue to stay with the mother after the father is removed from the home as long as there is no indication that the mother was complict. And at this point there isn't any indication that JP knew what his father was doing or that the boys were involved at all.

So what are we missing? Why (other than the obvious speculation I have) what grounds did they use for removing the children from the home? It has never been alleged that JP ever harmed the kids themselves. And it seems the only person who can be charged with a crime has been removed from the HH. And there hasn't been any allegations of neglect at this point.

So is there something else happening behind the scenes? Something we don't know yet that gave them the grounds for removal? (Impending arrest???)

They are going to have to err on the side of caution. At this point they have 2 boys whose Mother is missing, their Father is the POI and they are/were living with a G'father who is a pedophile. He may not have pics of them but very well could have molested them.

Sounds like the police have told him something.

I would imagine that they took the children because it hasn't been determined of those children were photographed, sexually molested or not. When a person is accused of taking pictures and filming kids in a play ground and in the privacy of their home by a peeping tom, it is prudent to have a full investigation to ascertain if the Children were also a victim.

Makes me wonder what else is going on behind the scene.

LOL, Dr. great minds and all that.

Anyone wondering if SP was in McCleary, WA? I can't stop thinking of Lindsey Baum.

A Washington state court commissioner says he won't decide on the custody of a missing Utah mom's two young boys until after Child Protective Services finishes its investigation.

A lawyer for the state attorney general confirmed that the boys had been placed in foster care.
