Its awful Im located in Stockholm. Örebro is about 30 min by train. I have been there many times ( beautiful town with a castle by the water).
According to swedish news komvux the school. Komvux is education center for adults where you can learn profession or swedish language.

Breaking news, five shot in shooting at Swedish school.

Doesn't sound like they have the shooter, yet. One of the people giving comment to the press is doing so while sheltering in place in a classroom.

MOO

From what I'm reading, gun ownership in Sweden is pretty strictly regulated. Legal automatic weapons seem to be limited to collector's items.

Uhm….not anymore unfortunately.

Corrected: it is limited. But about 1-5 % of the population does not respect this.

Also kids print out plastic guns that take metal as bullets. I know because I’ve seen it in person.

Straight out of sweden, the place where guns don’t get the time to rust….

Paraphrasing eazy-e

Though since they‘re often printed and made of plastic, they can’t even rust.

According to news 35 year old is suspected of the attack. “ According to Aftonbladet, a 35-year-old man is suspected of the school attack. According to SVT Örebro's reporter, the police were on site at the man's home in Örebro at 4 p.m., where they are expanding the cordons.“

Six in hospital, all are adults. One possibly the shooter.

They must be pretty sure they've got the guy and that he was the only one, because they've lifted the shelter in place order.

It will be unlikely that it's a full-auto weapon, imo. If it is then it will almost certainly be unlawfully held.
It is hard to say. The term "automatic" is used differently by various folks. In the old days, any semi-auto was just called an "automatic." It automatically reloads.
But in this case, I don't know. I'd bet the weapon is illegal anyway. So it might be fully automatic. I think the weapons in the Charlie Hebdo attack were fully auto. In the end, it really doesn't make much difference.
It is just sad to see this anywhere.
