I used to go trucking across the USA with my dad.... As a little girl, I swore I'd be a truck driver... Hey, I can grease a 5th wheel and all the parts of the truck!!!! I probably know more about trucks than most men.

Oh, it's been months since I've been there! I miss the mountains! Unfortunately , we've switched to a regional route which doen't include Calif. anymore. : (

I have only my memory, pictures and videos now.

If my family wasn't so far away I would definately move to San Diego!

But Im not a girl from one of the "nice girl" states.
In fact, one of the many things that attracted me to my hubby was his heavy NY tough guy accent. its sexy.

I spent some time in Southern California when I was in college. My buddy from college owned bars there (well his father did) and he hried me to bartend for a summer. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I was able to be ME (me as in me...not medical examiner). i would surf every morning, goto the gym , meet different people and just do my own thing. California people are so relaxed and open minded. I felt like I was in the 60s. I would read books at the beach after a surf session, meet a group of people, and chill. Play guitar (smoke weed), and jsut be you.

Now I find I am not me. I am who I need to be. At work I am business LINAtive, at home i am home LINAtive, LInative, with my family Family Linative. Double lives are easy...its the triple and quadruple lives that get difficult. I am only me whne I am fishing, surfing, or out onmy boat by myself. I do not think I am the only one doing this. I think it is a major drain on our society. We need to embrace the culture of southern california and spread it.

I will get off my soapbox now.

I had to edit this post and take out the part wher ei said with my GF I am a diffrent person. Thats not ture. I am more myself than with anyone else. Ive been with her for like 4-5 months. We have known each other for several years tho from commuting to work. If I stay with her for another year or two I am gonna marry her. I will invite you all to my wedding here on WS. LOL
