I really don't get it.

It's been proven she did not die of natural causes, she didn't o/d, no injuries that to my knowledge suggest self harm. So why on earth do they keep banging about the depression which appeared to be years prior?!??!!??,?

Why aren't the prosecution asking the hard direct questions?

No matter who is in the accused chair I would expect them to be far more direct! Sounds like a tea party in there!

I've never followed a real trial before and maybe watched too much law and order, but 100% agree!!

Yeah, can anyone who does have first hand experience (ie, not law and order like us!!) advise if this is how it usually goes?

I'm more aggressive drilling my 5year old about what he has done to his brother to make him cry!

I think that the prosecutor is laying out the Life of Gerard as he presented himself to certain people.. his capacity for deception, and his really remarkable capacity to relentlessly spin stories that , with subtle persistence , painted him as some sort of heroic battler..

when we get to the folks he scammed, defrauded, conned and stole from, from the people he fantasised to, it will paint a whole other story..
