April 19, 2012, Allison is a "bit stressed" at the hairdresser, defence says #badenclay

Because she was annoyed at the fact they'd screwed up her hair twice already. Duh!

:innocent::gasp::gasp::gasp:

Lol someone call the rspca. Talk about flogging a dead horse.
I hesitate to suggest that it seems like you're implying that he told a lie ;)

Ooh look the smilies came in above the post

Hahaha - not implying anything ;)

Defence barrister Michael Byrne is criticising Relationships Australia counselling session and advice to Gerard and Allison #badenclay

Let everyone be perfectly clear....we are still talking about a supposed finished affair, that is still making Allison feel this way at this point in time. Byrne is trying very hard to merge all the affairs into one. Gerred restarted his wallpapering and probably did some freezes on top as well. Any woman would have a second sense and a gut feeling....Allison was doing well considering what she dealt with at the time in April. Mr Gerred Pinocchio playing everyone at once, Allison for pretending to be the husband somewhat interested in maintaining his marriage (pfftt!!), TM ....possibly for being able to keep the business afloat, everyone and anyone......

Allison was too good and too committed to her wedding vows. The Baden/Walton/Clay gang should look hard at their inept and immoral defence of Gerred....., if it had been me dealing with such 'dastardly' behaviour I would have run for the hills....and taken him for the little he was worth...

no one is going to believe that ALISON is distressed about the male child thing. EVERYONE over the age of 10 knows that its the father who carries the genetic code for male or female... Wouldn't matter who Gerard was slipping it to, he wouldn't make sons. His brother could, and his father could, but Gerard didn't have it in him. EVERYONE knows this...

I think Aimee said she had to go out?

In less than a third of cases do people leave suicide notes #badenclay
Such modifications can lead to a confused state #badenclay
The defence is again reminding the jury that Allison's depression medication had just not long been altered #badenclay
She told the the hairdresser that she wasn't feeling well #badenclay

So! Allison goes for a walk at 6am, walks 14 kms, throws herself off a bridge, doesn't break anything, doesn't drown. And no-one saw her walk all that way. 14kms at a brisk walk would take at least 3-4 hours on the flat. Out that way there are so many hills she would have been walking for at least 5 hours, yet no-one saw her. Not even when they were searching for her at 8am? Great Defence Byrne. Far out.

Why is it that when I go to thank some posts it doesn't allow me too. Well said Firsttimer

Caroline Overington ‏@overingtonc 54s
The jury is also being reminded that Gerard doesn't have to prove his own innocence #badenclay
The defence is again stressing that Gerard has no idea what happened to Allison #badenclay

I think we should spare a thought for the defence team here...their job is to ensure due process and a fair trial for their client, regardless of his/her prospects. Mr Byrne is required to do his absolute best for his client, even when the quality of material he has to work with is less than stellar. Regardless of the outcome, he will have earned his Legal Aid money.

Well said, Miss Fisher. It is worth remembering that these professionals are doing the best with what they've got, on instructions from a client.

Many in Mr Byrne QC's shoes would be hard pressed to find much to say beyond 'Dolly did it'.

Evidence is Allison always wanted a son. On April 18, she found out about birth of nephew - defence #badenclay

Kate Kyriacou @KateKyriacou · 36s
Byrne says after the question and answer session on April 18, they come home to news Gerard's brother has had a baby son. #badenclay

This is beyond a joke now, no? The link they are trying to draw between Allison initially wanting a son (to carry on her husbands name?!) and her brother-in-law having a boy years later? To even suggest that this could have set off a depressive state that led to suicide.......!

every juror would have done biology 1.... forget it, Gerard.. you . are. going. down.

David Murray ‏@TheMurrayD 1m
She's had a full day of work, made a hair appointment - defence #badenclay
Thursday April 19 she took Zoloft, knew she could increase dose if needed - defence #badenclay

Kate Kyriacou @KateKyriacou · now
Byrne says the hair appointment clashed with a parent teacher interview. "Why would a mother do that," he says. #badenclay

WTF! This might have been the first time she did that. ANd GBC probably told her to

Kate Kyriacou @KateKyriacou · 10s
Byrne says after leaving Allison on the couch watching the Footy Show, we don't know what happened. #badenclay

WHAT A LOAD OF COD-SWOLLOP!

She had been to the hairdressers the previous night and needed to meet her friend at 7am. No way she went for a walk.

4:15pm: "Let's look to see if there was any other factor, any other stressor, a trigger for a recurrence or relapsing in the depressive illness. In particular, let's talk about this one ..." Mr Byrne said.

"Allison so wanted a son after having two girls."

She gave birth to her third daughter in 2006.

Mr Byrne urged to the jury to factor in, "as far as a trigger is concerned", the birth of Mr Baden-Clay's nephew Cameron Baden-Clay in Canada on the evening of April 18, 2012.

Unless she was depressed and trying to make herself feel better. More groans in public gallery #badenclay

Are the press in an overflow court or are the public gallery groaning in the actual court??
