Do we know that is who the Sievers' used as their regular vet? Or is that who was called to check on them the day LE and Animal Control showed up? I have no idea. I just always assumed since it was a van advertising as doing "house calls" they were probably summoned by Animal Control.

News reporter states this near end of video, starting at 2:30 - -
“We did call that vet office, by the way, and we were told the Sievers were existing clients prior to this incident.”

Thanks beach. I agree with you about glowing, gushing FB sentiments that most people post.

But, from all that I’ve read about TS, she strikes me as an extraordinarily authentic person. I don’t think she would write something ‘fake’ about her husband. If she felt inclined to even ‘fake it’ a little bit, maybe she would write “I am married to a great guy.“ Instead, she wrote “I am married to a wonderful, supportive guy“. It seems to me that she gave considerable thought in using the words 'wonderful' and 'supportive'.

But TS also wrote something to the effect of: why do we cling to relationships that no longer serve our purpose---or something to that effect.
People change, relationships change, our rose-colored glasses can become crystal-clear type of change, etc, etc

Personally, I think that all of TS's best intentions, all of her boundless energy, all of her healing abilities with her patients, and her willfulness & strength of character could never create a normal, blissful life with him. No matter how much she gave, no matter how big she smiled in photos, no matter how much she wrote the words of a "fairy tale"---nope, it was not going to happen. I think she realized that in the end.

But back to the dogs/cat.....the old dog is skinny with skin issues, the other dog was hiding....neighbors didn't see anyone caring for them for days but heck "marginal" is A-OK, right?

Not. No way.

Obviously I know zero about TSand MS, but I have a woman on my FB who is always writing glowing stuff about her hubby, I think he is a sociopath and I know they fight

I think she is trying to impress her FB people who live far away,

I am not impressed on glowing reports about family on FB . So many times I know the reality and it is far from what someone is portraying.

As I posted in another thread, I don't know where to ask this....what is the deal about the dogs? Being locked up in a room? Thanks in advance as I am new to this case.

I don't think anyone on here is certain where exactly in the house the dogs were. Not sure it was even officially verified the dogs were at the house while TS was out of town.

They appear to be taken away/in yard first day of crime scene in this photo posted upthread

The question from the beginning of the investigation was, why did nobody hear the dogs barking, if they were home that night/morning. The neighbors reported during early news coverage, that the neighbors were surprised the dogs did not bark - or that they did not hear them barking. That implied that the dogs were indeed at the house.

If they did not bark, we concluded that

- either the dogs had not been at the house ( but they were, as we would learn later by (unverified) neighbors, as well as by the fact that LE came back and took samples from the dogs)
- the dogs had possibly been tranquilized
- they were locked up in another area of the house, possibly in the master bedroom or closet, since they are located furthest from the kitchen/ garage area (NG reported the kitchen as possibly being the location of the attack). The master bedroom also only has a small window, reducing the chance of the dogs being heard.
-the dogs were familiar with the attacker(s).
-the dogs were in the backyard outside the house.
-the dogs could have been tranquilized and held inside the van.

I may forget other possibilities, but as far as I recall, these were the main ones.

The dogs are lab chow mix. Teresa said they had the best of both breeds. The intelligence of the chow, and the personality of the lab.

It's plausible that TS came home and let the dogs outside immediately to potty, after a big hello of doggie dancing and stuff of course. This would open an entry for perps, or at least separating them from herself.

Aww. Kinda sounds like the good Doctor Teresa herself, doesn't it?

Are they checking "Lucy" the black labrador's implanted chip for location details during the murder? It is interesting to see that LE believes "that the evidence connected with the crime is currently being contained in or on the dog..."

Re: Crime scene: The doggie door was left unsecured (plastic flap had been removed), so the dogs could come in and out of the lanai, and the lanai door was propped open. Upon arrival by LE, they secured the doggie door and the scene.

The Dog Search Warrant, the day Animal Services got to the TS house and checked the animals!

Regarding the dog(s) did anyone else get the freaks when it said "on or inside" the dog. There are so many places my mind goes with such a broad statement like that. What sort of evidence?! Poor dog. I hope she didn't witness the brutal murder of TS. Additionally, I agree with the question of the COD coming from 2 men who never (to our knowledge) knew TS. Tragic. Just tragic.

IMO CWW didn't think the case would make national news or he's too stupid to think LE wouldn't check any and all associates of TS & MS. I know the break was a lucky one with the tip but so much would have lead back to him either way. He's definitely not the smartest hitman I have seen.
