The Trailer: Who, When and How

Hmm...now I'm not sure. Isn't a Yukon big enough to pull that trailer? If not, another possibility that might explain why they never stole the first ram...could it be that they only want one that would pull the trailer. Maybe the first test drive didn't have one and TB's did? Now I am not sure...I thought the Yukon could haul the trailer.

I guess I missed this, but how do we know they couldn't have driven TB's truck onto the trailer?

I meant to write 'Maybe the first test drive didn't have the towing package (hitch) and TB's did?

Driver couldn't get out once the truck is in the trailer
- can't open doors
- back window does not open

If someone did drive the truck into the trailer at a location other than the farm, then they would be trapped in the truck in the dark with a dead body for a long and bumpy ride...not sure if anyone would volunteer for this duty

ETA: RyeGuy clarified there is a side door in the trailer that allows one to exit so...ignore all that please!!!

Oh, I am so dumb. I get it. Of course you can't attach a fifth wheel trailer to a Yukon. I guess I won't be helping solve this crime anytime soon.

Would those type of trailers not have a winch? That could be used to move vehicles into the trailer.

Did we ever decide if TB's truck had a fifth wheel hitch. Jeesh, sorry for asking but this throws a bit of a wrench into my theories.

This photo shows the trailer from left and right side. There's a full-size door on the passenger side, but the door on the driver side looks smaller and I think would be beside TB's truck bed, not the driver side door, once the truck was loaded in.

it does look possible to slide across and exit via the passenger door if the full-size trailer door was open.

I know a few race car owners who have these type of trailers, some do have a winch. Both of the side doors of the trailer do not line up with the doors of the truck, making it impossible to get out after driving the truck into the trailer.

The trailer stored at DM's mother's did not have any mud on the tires in the media photo's I have seen. Ironically, a dodge Ram is used by the police to take it in for evidence.

I don't think they were bright enough to remove soil samples. Which makes me believe the trailer was waiting in a paved area. Where?

The seats were removed, means blood was drawn, my thinking is that Tim was shot. Only the LE knows if a bullet was found in the remains of his skull (gross to think of). The crime was committed after dark, on May 6th the sun sets around 8:40, so they can drive to their destination with Tim slumped in his seat or MS holds him up.

The removal of the seats what seat front and back...I don't know. I am assuming all the seats as blood does splatter, can you drive a truck without a seat? It has to be driven or pushed into the trailer. I reason I am obsessing on this is that there are seats missing, that have to be disposed of and where or how are they disposed of and not found. The metal frame would remain even if burned.

The seats if not found on the Ayr farm are they trophy items in someones home? I am going off topic as we were looking at what truck pulled the trailer.

In my opinion the trailer and drive away truck where left at a pre-planned point that was assumed safe up till Wed May 8th. Again you need two drivers to move vehicles.

I think the Waterloo airport does have surveillance cameras pointed to the front entrance, crap, I was there six years ago for a job interview and could swear there were cameras on every roadway within the airport. I have to take a trip out there to see plus enjoy watching a few big birds take off come Tuesday.

Welcome, Sleuthy! Very nice post.

Actually I can't say for sure that TB's truck had a slider or not but power sliding rear window was available for this trucks make and model. If he had one then the truck could have been driven onto the trailer.

In thread#1 post 36 there is a pic of the truck from different angles, it doesn't look like he had a slider window. Take a look??

It was also pointed out in another thread that there are TWO trailers seized that look pretty much the same: one found in Kleinburg at DM's mothers contained Tim Bosma's truck. The second similar trailer was taken from the Waterloo Hangar by LE.

Maybe this has been noted and clarified already, but I remember viewing a video on with DM or AM's Facebook from when they took the jeep somewhere (possibly baja race??). Does anyone remember seeing that? The jeep had shifted and wasn't sitting properly. I don't think I imagined seeing that...

Just wondering if that is the same trailer TB's truck was in?

I didn't see the video but I remember other discussion of it (the vehicle inside having moved around).
