not funny brissy lass , imagine how we were hanging out for a smoke , thank God those days u could smoke in the building so could just go outside the room:therethere:

Our court have a little courtyard out the back for such occasions. You get escorted by the Sheriff.

@marissa_sc: Jury deliberations are approaching the 9 hour mark #badenclay @brisbanetimes

I'm that confident I am looking forward to the sentencing component of this trial..

:rolleyes::deepbreaths::gavel::crazy:

Although it is lunch break for the jury, they will still be discussing the matter at hand
(they will also be commenting on how nice the cakes and pastries are)

I would love to see a verdict today but I believe it wont be til Monday / Tuesday at least.

It was very surprising just how quickly the time ticked away in that room.
Feels like hours outside but in there the clock is like lightning.
Things start to fray a little by the end of the day as well, so there will be an element of pressure felt by some individuals (maybe placed on them by others in there) How they deal with that is why I feel next week is most likely.

The 12 jurors will have sorted their 'pecking order' by now and a foreperson would have been established.
You would have to accept that there is a level of bullying that occurs too when some individuals are not seeing things they way others do and all these conflicts take time to iron out until everyone is satisfied and content with their own decisions.
It simply just takes time.... those jurors will not be doing it easy.

Lucky for me I had a hair appointment this morning. Full head of foils and 25 minutes drive either way, left at 9.30 and didn't get back until about 10 minutes ago. It saved a lot of nervous energy, for sure. Joining you now in a probably rather stressful afternoon; hoping and praying for justice.

I'll put my order in for my cyber Valium milkshake and a happy pill chaser on the rocks.
PLEEESE. :silenced:

IYKWIK.

:slap:

I'm so grumpy at work today. Luckily other staff know
The reason and are tolerant. Lol

........
Whatever the decision , the Baden-Clay name is ruined... Nige might as well go and deed-poll it back to the original Clay and hope it flies under the radar, and try and rehabilitate from that starting point. .. not a bad outcome there.........It's a handicap now, and the kind of name people make silly jokes about..

So long as the girls aren't burdened, it would be a sweet extra on top of the guilty cake.

Very little has been mentioned about Allisons siblings - perhaps the girls may find themselves living under the guidance (and roof) of her brother rather than the elder Dickies

Waiting crowd getting restless. 10 mins till lunch break... Enough time for a verdict? Anyone's guess #badenclay

Crikey.... Crowd getting restless.... That's nothing to the many people at home or work, glued to their computers and various internet devices! ......And none trying to hide facial wounds with same either.

Just ran into NBC and EBC in the paper shop next to pie face in George St...she has her purple puffy jacket on!

and I am wondering when they get older if they may change their names by deed poll , just pondering

Any one else in here? Was here in city when Kates tweet came through....thought I might stay until 215....

Maybe they'll come back after lunch with verdict .. am I being too hopeful?

@KateKyriacou: The court is breaking for lunch. Justice Byrne has said he will not take a verdict before 2.15pm. #badenclay

:praying:
