oh man they do have her under the microscope! That's got to be so hard for a private citizen to handle.

If Susan did drop the "F" bomb, it only shows me that she, like many other women but not all, (that would include me) know that if you don't have the habit of using that word then a very strategically placed F bomb ~ only used in the most dire cicumstances~ can bring the listener to a sudden and complete stop hehe.

Hi Kat, How Funny and if that isn't the truth LOL

Now I'm wondering if thie pressure on her will show up in her at the finals. I thought it was down to 2 acts but I see that isn't the case.

Maybe she should sing 'Under Pressure'

And I thought it was on Sunday nite. On HLB they said Sat nite.

Imagine this sweet little "cat woman" thrust into the Limelight with her Beautiful rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" the first paragraph to the song says it all:

There was a time when men were kind
When their voices were soft
And their words inviting
There was a time when love was blind
And the world was a song
And the song was exciting
There was a time
Then it all went wrong

The lights, Cameras, Makeovers, MEDIA...How much was she supposed to take? Is this the price she must pay for her dream?? I'd probably be dropping an F bomb too! :sheesh:

Yes Dolly........she was set up. The 2 men who tried to get a reaction out of her were tabloid reporters!!! What scumbags.

Then I saw that one of the judges (Pierce) was explaining that a high fever when she was a baby left her with some "problems" i.e. controlling emotions, learning- I assume.

And heck, I know very few people who do not curse when at the end of their rope. I curse sometimes when I am just barely mad! (not proud of that)

The producers told her that if she quits then the bullies win and they talked her out of it. No matter what......that is one of my favorite clips of all time.....I love an underdog, true talent.

OMG you guys, this does add an extra dimension of excitement to the competition, doesn't it.

It is good she is Scottish as they are very centered and staunch people I think. I hope she rises above all this muckeltiruck and nails the most perfect song she could ever sing.

There's got to be another show song like I dreamed a dream, isn't there? I agree Dolly those words are too perfect but I don't think she'll repeat it.

Well, thank-you! And in YOUR honor..this morning when it was a little chilly:

I wore my coat, with golden lining
Bright colours shining, wonderful and new
And in the east, the dawn was breaking
And the world was waking
Any dream will do!

I've got it in my Blood.....LOL

Can you explain that lyric to me, Dolly? They use it as the theme song for the contest show (which airs again on BBC-American this Sunday at 5pm) and Joseph sings it three or four times in the oratorio.

But I still don't understand what the character means when he says "any dream will do."

There has never been a great singer who didn't have a bit of a temper. Never.

In her autobiography, Beverly Sills talked about learning to be temperamental. Before that, she wasn't taken seriously.

I PERSONALLY think it has to do with Joseph and his ability to interpret dreams. His seemed to have ALL come true and he is just saying...Bring it on, ANY dream will do..BUT, there are some that think it was just a Pop Single tweaked for the Broadway show.

Piers Morgan was on The Today Show this morning. Here is a link to the Video!

Piers has also taken to the airwaves and Internet to defend Susan:
"Susan Boyle has never experienced anything like this and is like a frightened rabbit in headlights," Morgan wrote on his blog Thursday. "I am calling today for everyone to just give her a break."

Here's the latest performance kids, now I guess we have to wait for the votes another few hours. Susan looks beautiful and her voice....oh my!

hubby just called from london, they have announced she came second after a dance team called diversity. dont know if that is the final outcome, just what he told me.

i kinda thought the semifinal wasnt too good, she was so obviously stressed starting out, but as far as im concerned, shes a winner.

cant wait for a CD!

I just read that about two minutes ago. I never heard much hype about the dance group?

Thanks Mira, I'm astounded! I still think she is a winner and hope she goes on to great things in life now that the door has been opened. :blowkiss:
