No, not really it isn't.

How many times have we heard that people see "missing children" and o absolutely nothing while the child is "reportedly" in their sight. But later on they decide to report it and then they wonder why noone takes them seriously. Why oh why do these people never call 911 right then, on the spot and get things done once and for all? I agree, it really isn't interesting to hear about it after the fact. Does this remind anyone of the Mall sighting of Caylee Anthony? No one called 911 but just stood and stared at the child.

It would be good to figure out why LE wants to poly the people that was with Haleigh just days before the crime.....and who are they? Can't be misty if what we heard is true.

They're going back 30 days has to be a clue in there no one has thought of. That brings us to January 11, 2009 to February 9, 20009. What was the behavior of the family during those 30 days that would lead LE to a reason for Haleigh disappearing or worse.

We know nothing. When did rc REALLY start working at PDM. He had just moved to Green in November with his new love child of 16 yrs of age. Is there something in that?

This Mexican house the girls visited a few days before.....does that play in? I was reading somewhere that there are houses of prostitution run by the mexicans down there, true? Is rc involved in any of this? Misty and Nay went in and we don't know if she was there before. We can't take Nay's word on anything due to drug use. Is rc a user of drugs, alcohol? addiction to either? How does Jerome fit in? Who are rc's contacts? I cannot believe he is clueless or abstanite of drugs.....all his associates around him appear to be users. We know of three girls he was heavily involved with who all were users. He may have supplied them to keep them or lure them.

What was going on in the thirty days prior?

I agree completely. I hear of far more horror stories about the FL DCF than any other state.
They have a tough job with carp pay and limited resources.

Well, I'll add that NC is definitely not a state to brag about concerning the welfare of children, that's for sure but FL has been spotlighted in more than usual cases it seems in the last three years. It isn't just the DCf, judges are also making major bad decisions regarding the welfare of children. I do know that just because DCF decides to leave a child with a custodial parent doesn't mean that that is always the best and safest choice for the child. I have not seen a suitable parent among the entire bunch involved with Haleigh, including grandparents.

Just curious, has any of our sleuthers researched arrest records prior to Haleigh's disappearance? I'm not good at that, but I do know that we have excellent sleuthers who can do this in their sleep.

I don't know IF Ron C is involved, but IIRC Cobra mentioned something about it and stated something about someone had to bring in another agency to do a clean up of sorts....Something about quite a few in LE pertook of the services that were provided...JMO

Please, please don't make me guess or assume what services you are referring to. I have a vivid imagination and make overguesstimate what you are implying. At least give me a bit more so that I don't have to pull my foot out of my mouth here.

With all due respect, i live in Florida and i honestly think the system here fails more than they help......

If you google FL DCF Failed investigations, you will find a bunch of cases. Below i have posted a link regarding several caseworkers getting in trouble for make false reports, as well as 14 children being "lost" in state custody....

Not saying that other states don't have bad apples but in Florida, it is an everyday thing..and that is very sad to me.

And these cases are the ones that are found out, just imagine how many are never found out about. I would imagine that the numbers are mind boggling.

I am sure law enforcement was aware of where the shirt was before allowing Misty back in on the pretenses of finding HaLeighs school clothes. I wonder if she passed their test. She must of because LE recanted what they believed HaLeigh to be wearing and still where under the impression that HaLeigh was taken and was still alive. IMO

LE put out the Amber Alert with the description of the clothing Haleigh was reported to be wearing at the time of her disappearance. Misty is the person who described to LE what Haleigh was wearing when she last saw her. LE had to change the the description of the clothing due to the fact that Misty had not been truthful or accurate about what Haleigh had been wearing. LE did not make up what Haleigh was wearing.

I am looking for the interview...IIRC it was a recent one..Cobra gave an interview to someone, but I do not believe it was TJ Hart...Hopefully I can find it... Do you recall any recent interviews done by cobra?

I recall he was saying someone had to call in an outside agency to clean up the mexican houses in the area because LE wouldn't do it.. Reason being they visited the establishments frequently....

Did i mention anything about Ron and his investigation? NOPE. As a resident of Florida, i hear it, and see it every single day on the local news. I just wanted to point out that just b/c DCF says there is no evidence of abuse, doesn't always mean they have followed up on the case, or even visited the home.

That is it...i think i am going to have to go back downstairs, it is much more pleasent down there.

lil momma I realize that you didn't mention RC, I was responding to another poster who believed that Ronald wasn't looked at closely enough during the several investigations by DCF, and therefore the children were not removed from the home. I disagreed.

I sincerely hope that you don't feel like you should go back downstairs because it is much more pleasant down there. lol....you think I don't understand about unpleasantness? I don't always feel great up here either, but I am not here about me and my feelings, I am here in hopes of finding a clue...Maybe I should have gave up a long time ago, but now I just can't. I know each time that I post that I am going to be hit with resistance and disbelief, but I post anyway because I don't know how to give up or give in.

I want to apologize to you for making you feel unpleasant, as I have said before it is very hard to see the emotions behind a person when you are behind a keyboard.

Well.... from what I understood from the early Art H interviews w/Nay [and we now know that Art was employed by Cobra at the time], Nay's friend Linzey turned tricks FOR a house of Mexicans, but the Mexicans were all living there and Linzey was making a "house call".

Later Cobra said that JeromeW was the girls' pimp, iirc.

jmo - but we have too many chcks giving it away for a cop [or any other guy] to need the services of a House of Ill Repute.

I am really disturbed that from March onward, our sleuthing has pretty well been led by anything Art writes, his readers comment on, or Cobra says.


Later KP joined the "show", as did TJ. IMO, I do not know what to think about TJ. He really seemed like a good guy at first.

I would like to go through the tens of thousands of posts on here and see what we dug up on our own without being egged on by any of these players.

Are children 5 years of age able to give their full name, age and address when asked? If HaLeigh was abducted, would she be able to remember and recite personal information about herself? No one TMK asked Ron, Crystal or Misty if HaLeigh could do this.

Wow, that link is worth a read. Any confirmation on whether the Brooks in MA really are related to Amber? Interesting relationship to Joe also. Maybe 'Kayla' was getting 'pain meds' from the 'pain specialist' ? If this turns out to be true, then Misty's smart-mouth threats to Amber certainly cost them all a lot of anquish. Btw, I notice the postings stopped about 3 weeks ago??

Misty has a smart mouth and not the brains to back it with. She threatened Amber. MO, Misty has a serious problem with wanting to be a wife and mother...emphasis on 'serious'. I wonder how far she would go to be one. I tend to think for the most part she considered Haleigh like a sister and was in competition for rc's gifts and support. She may have harmed Haleigh out of jealousy. She may have told rc there was an accident and rc believes Haleigh died by accident but he doesn't want it to reflect on him.

It looks like somebody is giving another idea and that Haleigh is alive and will be returned by..........? help! and Amber is involved?

This is all supposition at this point, but according to the poster at the link, Kayla is the sister to cousin Joe Overstreet and therefore cousin to Misty. Kayla was apparently seen in a physician's office in MA carrying Haleigh and holding the hand of a toddler about a year old. Office employees told the 'observer' that Kayla comes there with a patient who drives 3 hours from Cape Cod on a regular basis to see this "Pain Specialist". Observer researches and finds Mr. Cape Cod to be a Richard Brooks who lives on Dennis near Timmy and Chelsea Croslin. Richard Brooks is also known to make trips to Florida and I think it was conjectured that this Brooks is related to Amber Brooks, who is friends with Kayla, who is sister of Joe, and who has a serious bone to pick with Misty. Seems that Joe also had a serious bone to pick with Ronald? It's also conjectured that on the infamous night, some girls lured Misty into coming out to party after the kids were put to bed and while Misty was out, someone with a bone to pick went in and took Haleigh.

I think that's the general synopsis, Whisperer. But its late and I could have missed something. Just wondering if it was ever CONFIRMED that this particular Richard Brooks is indeed related to Amber and if so, what is his relation to Timmy and Chelsea Croslin who live so nearby, and the significance of the REGULAR visits to the "pain specialist".

And look in your local phone book for BROOKS. You probably even have a Richard in your local area. [btw - I haven't looked at your profile, so IDK where you live, but it doesn't matter. Everybody on the Haleigh boards will find BROOKS in their own local directory, imo.]
