Maybe the clothes that GA said she was wearing are clean and hanging in her closet at home? Didn't CA say that nothing of Cayless's was missing?

ETA - I still don't understand why LE didn't go back into the home to do a more thorough search!???

that isnt all she said, she says on the tape interview w LE Caylee LIKED Blanchard park, she LIKED the swings. Yeah she doesnt like them, she liked them plurally cause shes no longer here!

I am sorry ... but the visual of this .... what Caylee went through and then the possibility that KC may have removed her clothes .....

JUST MAKES ME SICK BEYOND WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know how sometimes you have one of those thoughts that flashes into your head, literally makes you sick and then won't go away. Yeah, here's mine for today.
IF Casey made this statement and she made it in a certain context, it would indicate that Caylee's clothes are not with her body. Which means that Caylee;s body would most likely be naked. Is Casey sick enough to do something to her own child to simulate a sexual assault? No one would say it was her if they had found Caylee's body in time to prove that she was molested shortly before death.
I have a hard time fathoming that one. I really do. Parents kill their kids all the time, but for her to do that to her...I just have no more words. And I am sorry to share this very graphic thought, but it won't leave.

No way am I defending what she has to say, but years ago when my oldest daughter was a baby, someone in a FLA mall stole a little girl a little younger than Caylee. They took her in the bathroom, cut off her hair to make her look like a little boy, and changed her clothes. The whole mall had been shut off and people where searching everywhere for her. Kidnappers left her in the garbage can and she was found unharmed. Thank goodness that mall security was so quick in shutting down all of the exits. Maybe that was her thinking, that they would change her clothes into somthing else, and change her appearance. Who knows, this case makes me crazy!!

Maybe Caylee left the country dressed as a little boy, before CA reported her missing.

You're right - that is a horrific thought.

Here's another one - there was a knife found in Casey's car.

I think they're referring to Tracy M, the female bodyguard/bounty hunter that stayed with her in the house for 10 days.
Padilla refers to her as "his associate" in the paragraph before. Also..later in the article they refer to speaking to the "investigators" and them going to California to interview her. Clearly, they are talking about the lead investigator and investigators on Caylee's case and not Tracy.

For the next 10 days, Padilla said, Anthony was plenty chatty with his associate Tracy McLaughlin.

~snip~

A lead investigator confirms that during one of those trips, Anthony blurted out "They haven't even found the clothes she was wearing" about those searching for Caylee.

That investigator called Anthony’s comment "an important statement."

Investigators WESH 2 News spoke with agree. They confirm the clothes Caylee was last seen wearing on June 16 have not been recovered.

Investigators confirm they have gone to California and questioned McLaughlin.

I just wonder if they would be honest about anything missing anyway or if they would even notice one outfit. I have a bedroom full of toys and clothes at my house for my granddaughter and to be honest if one outfit was missing, I would probably not notice. Unless, of course it was one she wore on a special occasion or one of my favorites.

just leaving her with no clothes on is enough to assume that a sexual assault might have occurred, she doesn't necessarily have to 'do' anything else to her body.

not my kids - The notion that someone can do something as heinous as murdering their own child is so "far out there" and absurd to most "normal" people that it kind of shocks the brain. In our attempt to understand and to make sense of things, it makes us think about things that we would never think about. I can't vouch for anything that did or did not happen as I'm here reading and commenting as you are...The only comfort that I can give you is that I think your scenario, regardless of how heinous a mother killing her child is, is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. Get it out of your head. It's your imagination running off on its own - trying to make sense of things that don't really make sense.

This is my opinion only, of course. The only reason that I am writing it to you is that I understand how sometimes your mind can get "stuck" around certain things...I'm just trying to help you "remove" the thought.

I think that she probably used the knife to open up the shed when she stole the gas and then was too lazy to replace it. (The alternative scenario is too horrific to write.)

"They haven't even found the clothes she was wearing." KC.

* * * * * * *

Interpreting Anthony speak:

"They (LE) are so inept, with all they searched, they missed the clothes she was wearing. They were right there and still missed them!"

Evidentiary value: Caylee and clothes are in 2 different places, per KC herself.

Thank you, at this point, I would use a blowtorch if it would get rid of that thought.

Perhaps the clothes Caylee was wearing were buried in the back yard and that's what the dogs hit on. Said clothing could even have been found prior to the police search, laundered and put away - hence nothing of Caylee's is missing.

Just an opinion of a possibility.
I thought of this, too...and the statement of Cindy's on the stand at the first bond hearing, "There is NO evidence!".

What IS it with the A's and their HORRIBLE disdain for LE? They all have it...This terribly blatant distrust of LE? Could it have something to do with GA's past???

Twilight Zone music here...

Then how did she end up dead in the trunk of Casey's car?!

Maybe they killed a little boy that was ALSO Casey's that they had kept locked in the closet since he was born. Hey, maybe he was Caylee's twin and they only wanted the one, so they kept the other one secret and hidden until such a day as they could kill him, pretend that Caylee was kidnapped, and put HIM in the trunk so LE would be thrown off by the mitochondrial dna... (Of course I am kidding.)

This is one of the most discouraging cases I have ever seen involving a missing child...The lies get bigger and less believable. The players get more arrogant and seem less caring as the days progress. The entire thing is a mess and I just do not know where it will ever end...I have my hopes though that it will end with a needle in the vein of the vain one who began this whole avalanche-CASEY ANTHONY!:furious:

forgive me if someone already said this, but wouldn't cindy's statement about the clothing just mean 'if she was dead and decomposed, they would have at least found her clothing somewhere by now, and since they didn't, i still don't believe she's dead'?

not sticking up for cindy (trust me on that one) but this statement just didn't rile me up like it did some other people.

never mind, just realized it was casey who said it...
