This girl is just sick. I cannot even imagine poor little caylee dumped some place by her mother, but especially without any clothes. This breaks my heart. I wish they could force her to tell them where she is.

Either dressed or undressed my question is--
Do gators eat decomposing human bodies?

A while back, a guy from Florida had said that alligators only eat their own "fresh kill".
If that is true then throwing a decomposing body into Econ Lake would not feed it to the
gators at all!

I'm very interested to know if this is true, of course Casey may not have known if it is true.

Twice I had gator trappers remove problem gators from my pond. They used either a raw large animal lung or heart on a huge hook attached to a rope. They setup the hook above the water line and during the night the gators grapped it. They can't regurgitate what they eat, so once hooked the next morn were pulled in and taken away. Needless to say the bait was disgusting.

I'd say she either lied, or just lost track of what Caylee had. I can tell you that if it were me, and one of my daughters was missing, I'd have a hard time telling if any of their clothing or toys were also missing, unless it was a favorite. Its just too hard to keep track of those types of things. To be honest, I don't know how Cindy could say with such certainty that nothing was missing, unless she was lying.

I agree, unless it was something special that stood out. If not I could never say with 100% certainty that nothing was missing. So in my opinion CA would have to be lying.

Heaven knows, anything is possible with that girl. She could of just bought new clothes and disposed of them in some dumpster in a bag, knowing its like looking for a needle in a haystack in the landfill- everyones theory is so possible so far- this is a tough case to try and figure out all the way around- she left so many possibilities open

Why would Casey have undressed Caylee before 'desposing' of her??? To try and remove anything that would identify her?

This is what I have thought plus I think this (identity) is the reason she did not put Caylee's favorite doll named "mama" with her....anyone that found that would immediately know who the remains belonged to....

Just my thoughts.

I do think Cindy would know if Caylee's clothes were missing or not since she does the laundry and has purchased all the clothes for Caylee. So the question would remain: Did Cindy lie when she said none of Caylee's clothes were missing?

Bolded by me.

You really don't think Cindy would lie do you?

Yea. she thought she was being a smart cookie by taking the clothes off and rid of them and then throw Caylee in the water thinking the gators would get her or the body would be so decomposed and they'd never find remains, just not knowing if gators only went after live bodies or not.

If the clothes were fire retardent then they wouldnt burn very well....she took the clothes off burnt the body and got rid of the clothes. she didnt want the clothes to somehow wash up on shore to say...if thrown into water....not left on the body while being burnt incase they didnt burn all the way...there for linking the clothes to the body...left the clothes somewhere else and put something differnt on Caylee to bury.....I just keep remembering her asking her mother for one more day??? maybe she didnt clean up as well as she should have?? Just ideas

I don't know if this was posted yet - I just came over from the NG thread, but what if KC fed the body to the gators with clothes on? Would the clothes come out the other end of the gator and that is what she is implying? Just a thought. Sorry it is kind of gross but ....

If Caylee had genuinely been kidnapped, why wouldn't Casey have reported it?

She wanted Caylee out of her life. I'm not thinking a true kidnapping, I'm thinking Casy set it up with someone to get Caylee out of the country.

Why would Casey have undressed Caylee before 'desposing' of her??? To try and remove anything that would identify her?
It's strange and the doll didn't have clothes - first I thought it was just nothing because children dress and undress their doll but now I'm not sure. This is gross but - there wasn't blood in the trunk that we know of so if Caylee was holding her doll, the doll clothes and Caylee's clothes could have had fluids on them - decomp or vomit. That goes with a possible theory that Caylee was drugged, left in trunk, vomited and choked. KC found her didn't know what to do, undressed her and put clothes in a bag and just tossed the bag before she could decide where to put Caylee. Just a thought - Ok I have to admit that IMO this is what happened - that's not to say that she didn't know the danger of drugging Caylee and not an accident

Well I read that gators dont bother with dead meat so if she threw the body in the water with clothes on, then the clothes could still be found in the water and so could her skeleton. Then on another site I read gators usually dont after dead meat but theres a chance sometimes they do but its rare

GREAT POINT of view!!!

I think I will have nightmares tonight. This case becomes more gruesome everyday. I think that KC is pure evil. A nasty piece of work for sure.

Yea, that's right. I quess I just let that part of me that wants her to still be alive take over for awhile. I forgot about the car. Just wishfull thinking.

It's just so hard to believe a mother could be so evil & so unconcerned... it's easy to sometimes forget the evidence.

Can we even discount the possibility that Caylee was still alive but drugged when she dumped her into some lake?
