I don't see one single positive lead from any of the YouTubers or Podcast group. I do believe they created a lot of "noise" with negative comments, false leads and chaos in the community. For the most part, unless a person follows crime, the general public doesn't get their news from the YouTubers involved in SRs case.
I am saddened, many made money from SRs disappearance. It would have been better spent on billboards and professional private detectives with proven results. Stomping around Hendersonville, not releasing location of searches, claiming they are being threatened, no known photos of "these search groups", not even in MSM. I have my thoughts ....
Is it just me, or is most of this just in TN? I can only think of this and one other case, both in TN, where YouTubers and influencers were doing ground searches, raising money for months?
I'm glad Seth put a stop to some, I really wish it was all of them.

However, on Thursday, July 11, Seth resumed his search efforts. He told WKRN he took a brief break in searching to get a herniated disc repaired, but after a successful surgery, Seth said nothing is stopping him from searching for his son.

“Now I don’t really have much stopping me from getting out there and doing what I need to do,” Seth explained.

“There’s a refocus,” Tony Mathis, Seth’s spokesperson, said. “We are trying to zero in on more specific information that we are gathering.”

After all this time and all the ‘parental’ interviews, interactions, etc., we know nothing. Zip. Nada.

Anything we think we know comes from them., ie., when/how Sebastian went to bed, a thump or no thump, a nonchalant response to said thump/no thump. Then a 3 hour convo, during which hours IIRC, the bedtime interactions would’ve taken place ?

Then no Sebastian. That’s it. We know he was alive sometime on that Sunday. We know nothing else. It’s insane.

Sad to see this case not receiving much attention lately. I pray for this young man every night. I strongly feel 1 of the 3 parents knows more than they are saying. I don't trust any of them at this point. MOO.

Absolutely agree. At least one of them knows something imo...maybe just extra info that hasn't been shared with LE. Moo

Or maybe it has been shared with LE, how would we know? From the beginning Chris claimed TBI told them not to share some things. Why would you not share things related to a missing child who ran away? Seth also claimed TBI told him not to share some things, he was a little more open but that may have worked against him bc after a few weeks TBI wasn’t sharing with him. I think they eventually worked out their differences. I don’t recall Seth sharing things he admitted being told not to again.

This has been one of the strangest runaway cases I’ve ever seen, if that’s what it is. I’ve tried to convince myself it happened exactly as Katie said it did. One time or another. It’s hard. I sure would like Sebastian to be found. I can’t believe he’s been gone for 5 months! I also think someone knows more than they’re saying & I sure wish LE would do something, anything.

I checked in on a couple of the PI’s and other searchers recently on SM. One of them who spent their own time & money to take their S&R trained dog to Tennessee to volunteer to search was still being harassed by someone(s). Not only them but they were stalking their family members at work! This is so unacceptable. What is wrong with ppl?

This case reminds me of Kyron Hormon case.

SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The mother of a missing Middle Tennessee teenager said she’s being stalked by a YouTuber who’s covering the case.

Sebastian Rogers disappeared five months ago from his family’s home in Hendersonville.

Interest in the case has been nationwide, but now Sebastian’s mother, Katie Proudfoot, indicates it’s gone too far. She just got a temporary order of protection against a YouTuber by the name of ‘Bullhorn Betty.’
