Something that bugs me is that the Amber Alert states that he was last seen on February 26th in the Stafford Court area. The story LE and the parents have told is that mom put him to bed on the 25th at 9pm and he hasn't been seen since. SR supposedly went missing between the hours of 12am (when mom went to bed) and 6am when mom went to wake him up for school. Does this discrepancy allude to the fact that he was actually seen the next day?

That detail has bothered me immensely, for some time.
Especially since law enforcement have stated repeatedly that Sebastian has not been captured by cctv, ring cam, car cam add essentially stated that there is no footage of him at all.

I am a believer in properly trained S&R dogs. Searchers with dogs came in to help find Sebastian. Their dog/s lit twice. Is that right?

TBI tells them to leave the search to the professionals but the professionals stopped their ground search long ago, weeks ago. Maybe TBI knows much more about Sebastian's missing and a possible site than we've been told which is a good thing.

Here's an image of the area Seth and his volunteers searched at Rockland S from the P home. Did their search include the Rockland Rec area at the Cumberland River? Didn't notice murky water showing in the video. My hope and prayers are with Seth and his son, Sebastian.

Yes. Perhaps LE has reason to believe that Sebastian was in that area but did not remain there, and they are targeting their quiet searches based on digital leads of which the public knows zilch.

Let's say someone used a company car or an airport rental to remove Sebastian from the area -- there'd be extra layers of difficulty in getting warrants for, seizing and processing a vehicle like that.

It's a very young investigation.

IMO, by LE's  actions, they are not looking for a lost child who wandered away from home.

So I watch and I wait.

United Cajun Navy volunteers couldn’t elaborate on exactly where they were sending search crews on Sunday, March 24. However, members told News 2 they had drones and canines assisting.

“I just want to find my son,” Sebastian’s father, Seth Rogers, told News 2.

On Thursday, March 21, Seth said he was following up on a tip in Henderson and had passed out flyers around Nashville.

“All I know is that he has disappeared out of his mama’s house, and it’s my job to find him and bring him home,” Seth said.
New resources in search for missing Sumner County teen Sebastian Rogers

ILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Frustrations surfaced in the search for Sebastian Rogers, this weekend, as nearly a month has passed since the 15-year-old boy with autism went missing from his home in Sumner County.

Sebastian's biological father, Seth Rogers, and a group of volunteers searched Sunday near the Rockland Recreation Area in Hendersonville, for any clue that could potentially lead to the teen. The day before, volunteers said private tracking dogs alerted to a particular spot on the federal land. Video of the moment was recorded by JLR Investigates on YouTube (@jonathanleerichesinvestigates). Searchers said they didn't believe it had been checked by law enforcement, as of Sunday.

Some county leaders have responded, saying the search groups need to “trust the process.”

*reviewing from the beginning when updates are unbearably slow. :(

Officials believe he could be in the area of Beech/Shackle Island area near Long Hollow Pike.

“We know that Sebastian likes to fish, so really there is no option that is off the table,” Craddock said. “Sebastian likes to hide. He likes to get into small spaces and hide under his bed. So we are checking everything from drainage culvers to backseats of cars.”

"There have been no investigative leads to take us anywhere. We are still operating under the assumption that Sebastian walked off from his home," [Sumner County Sheriff Chief Deputy] said during Thursday’s televised news conference.

*first interview with mom and stepdad, starts at 23:00 mark

Sebastian Rogers family discusses his disappearance with WSMV4

From your lips to God's ears.

How many innocent children have suffered abuse and worse because a step-parent didn't really care for them and couldn't form an emotional bond? It's heartbreaking, and the adults who are involved end up suffering as well when they resort to foolish actions.

I'm not a snake person, but you can see how much little Sebastian loved his snake. How awful that child must have felt to lose his beloved pet.

I just can't get on board with that sort of thing. I hope Sebastian is found soon--one way or the other.
Ita.
So sorry about Sebastian's pet.
Something for him to feed and care for and talk to !

I feel so badly for his bio dad, Seth.
He has been tireless in searching and speaking out to keep his son in the news; and letting us know what kind of boy Sebastian is like.
I'm not yet ready to say "was". :(
Omo.

Narcissist parents. Demand respect but earn none. Must control everyone in their lives. Fly into a rage at the slightest hint of family members voicing anything that feels to them as a dissent. Zero empathy but particularly none for those with 'unmanageable' differences like spectrum and ADHD. Push the buttons in any way and danger lies directly ahead. I'm married to one. Hard to see it at first - love bombing etc. - and when you are a SA survivor and have complex PTSD your radar is broken. Only later do you see the damage the person causes to yourself and your kids. My radar is now finely tuned and I listened to that CP interview and was instantly triggered. Flashbacks. For a narcissist, there will be no remorse only self-pity and more rage. moo
It sounds like you and I live the same lives. Everything you say is 100% correct. A narcissist has no feeling, places blame for everything on anyone but themselves, become very upset if they feel disrespected. They become very angry when they are called out or have the truth spoken to them.
I am very afraid for this little boy.

Just breaks my heart to hear his dad calling for him.

I can understand both sides. The family and volunteers are going to do anything they can to find him, and LE just doesn’t want anything getting messed up, but can they honestly expect people to just stop looking for him? Especially after scaling back the search.
Agreed.
Most loving parents would be doing what Seth is doing.
Everything they can, and esp. searching until they are exhausted !
Omo.

Bolding mine.
I am thinking it was only stated in the AA ?

My opinion is this was possibly erroneous information in the AA notice.

It makes it sound like there’s something that could get worse if people keep searching. You know? If he’s gone then there’s no further harm to be done. It makes it seem like there’s a precarious situation. JMO. IMO. MOO.

Just speculating here, but--one issue is probably that searchers are searching on Federal and private land without permission, which could create significant issues around the admissibility of any evidence that might be found. Even TBI likely wouldn't be able to go directly onto Federal land without following the rules.

“We just want to find Sebastian," said another volunteer searcher Jaden Semich, who lives in Sumner County. "That man over there (Seth Rogers) is broken. He needs his son back. I’m not going to stop.”
The 501C3 search group, the United Cajun Navy, which was already in town assisting the in the missing University of Missouri student Riley Strain case, joined the effort to find Sebastian Saturday. Searchers said two tracking dogs appeared to hit on a spot in the recreation area.
“When the dog had the hit, everybody got out of the area so law enforcement can come out and do their job," continued Jones. "Did (law enforcement) do that? I don’t know. I feel like it was something that should have been checked into."

MOO the last thing this or any missing persons case needs is a pissing contest. Jay Jones, albeit well-meaning, should shut it with the press.

Frustrations surface in search for Sebastian Rogers

saying he doesn't know if LE checked that area while simultaneously suggesting they didn't is not helpful. Taking private searches onto federal land and/or private property is a nightmare for investigators.

I pray for Seth, that his son is found safe, but he needs to get a muzzle for his friend. JMO

If there is a crime scene somewhere, or anything of evidentiary value, you bet it can do harm. I watched one of the searches yesterday that was being live streamed and the people were picking up and moving things with sticks that they found instead of just marking it and letting LE know. So yes, I can see why LE doesn't want people willy-nilly searching and doing these types of things without instruction. JMO

I know there have been countless videos of the stepdad/mom on various YT channels that have been shared. Yes, he's very strict, some may even think he has an ***hole type personality, they don't agree with his use of corporal punishment, removal of pets, etc, and I don’t disgree with those feelings.

I do, however, go back to one of the very first interviews with mom & the stepdad, before the accusations and defensiveness started flowing from every which way.

This interview (shared below) was more about Sebastian and the days and hours leading up to his disappearance. I don’t personally sense anything disingenuous from them when they did this interview. They spoke of him in the present, not past tense, of many of his likes and dislikes.

I'm sure many will not agree, but until LE comes out and says anything different, we have to take what we have been told at face value, and that is Sebastian went missing from home, while under the care, custody & control of his mom. I believe if LE did NOT have evidence that stepdad was where he said he was the entire time around Sebastian's disappearance, we would know that from LE's lips by now, a month into this.

________

Interview at this link (they have it broken down in 4 segments)

Law enforcement has told CP not to say what dates he was at the home during February. Sure Jan.
Oh, right. Of course police would 100% tell him to stay quiet. They're like lawyers now. /s

Where are you watching it, Izzy? These last few days I've been reading the thread only and only now I'm about to go see all the interviews and etc.
