Clarksville police say Brent Copeland, 31, last spoke to his family on July 8. He had a bus ticket to get him back to Knox County and reportedly boarded a bus on the night of July 9 that went to Nashville.

Police say Copeland didn't board the connecting bus.

Maybe he doesn't want to talk to his family right now. It appears that his brother was arrested after assaulting Brent last month. Brandon Copeland pushes brother on concrete after argument about his drug use
Well, that's understandable but it makes me a little concerned for Brent. Not only because his brother has been violent with him before but because this charge is still very new, and usually involve a court order of protection, so he would not be legally allowed to go back to his home because Brent was there. Seems like those conditions could be a bit unfair to Brandon or could feel that way to him, considering the article. I wonder if this is part of the reason Brent was to travel to knox county? So Brandon could go back to his home and Brent could be with family? Do we know for sure Brent boarded the bus? It was reported he did, but by who? Nashville is a very short distance from Clarksville and if he's local to Clarksville and not a recent transplant because of the military base, it would be more than reasonable for him to know someone there in Nashville or call someone who would be willing to drive maybe an hour to pick him up from Nashville. But then where? Why would he cut off family who seemed to want to help? I can understand why he wouldn't and couldn't talk to his brother.
