Thanks to each of you who kept us informed today, and throughout the entire trial. I couldn't wait to get home tonight and get to my computer to see if a verdict was reached.
Praise God he was found guilty and will be held responsible for these horrible crimes. I know that the families will never be the same, but I do pray they find some comfort in the guilty verdict and (hopefully) the DP sentence tomorrow.
I was wondering . . . the defense mentioned that they have 8 people to testify on behalf of LD, with one being an expert. What expert do you think they will call to testify and what do you think he/she will say?
Also, it was mentioned that the defense brought up the cost of the DP comapred to LWOP. IMO, cost should not be a factor when considering the DP. If money to carry out the DP is a problem, let's take up a collection. I'll be the first to send a check!!
When the 7 people testify tomorrow about LD's upstanding character, is the state allowed to cross? I remember reading that Channon's father was asked not to make an impact statement because he would be cross examined by the defense.
And last, if the families of Channon and Chris push for a movement to make changes in our Justice System, which has gotten way out of balance (IMO), they've got my support too!

A psychologist is going to testify that LD is "bipolar." Also, as with Cobbins, a bunch of relatives will take the stand to hyperventilate about what a fine person LD really is. The defense will call about 8 witnesses.

It will be the same at the sentencing phase for Davidson.
 
One thing Cobbins had going for him was he showed emotion, he cried, put his head down during the photos or Chris and Channon, said he was sorry. None of that may matter to the victims families but it helps the jury to see the person could be sorry and I think that is what saved his butt from the DP. Unlike Davidson who has shown no emotion during this trial, only in his statement to police did he show emotion and it was pretty obvious it was because he was caught.

Alright, I'm ready bring in the 8 liars..I mean witnesses so we can see them plead for this piece of trashes life. JUSTICE for Channon & Chris and their families today!! He deserves the death penalty and this crime justifies using it on him.

I'm here, I'm also at work so I can't watch/listen. Ya'll are great keeping those of us that can't updated. I'm ready too. Justice for Chris and Channon and families...
 
I wouldn't miss this for the world..even cancelled my Dr. appointment..lol! Does anyone know how to start a new thread? We should probably start a new one for the sentencing.
 
The defense up to last minute tricks. They want to combine murder counts and Price is not one happy.
 
Price asking to bring up prior bad acts.
 
I haven't seen them show defendant yet but haven't been watching continuously.
