“You have to think about our timeline. Over 2 months of her missing.” Said they need a much narrower search area before they can form search parties. #EvelynBoswell

Cassidy earlier, speaking to locals’ desire to form search parties: He’d love that help but their search area is still way too large for that boots-on-the-ground work to be effective.

One more Cassidy line: “My staff hope and pray she’s alive. We’re going to continue to work just like she’s alive.” #EvelynBoswell

Sullivan County Sheriff: Wilkes County, NC authorities searching pond in relation to search for Evelyn Boswell
A search is currently underway in Wilkes County, North Carolina at a pond in the county where Evelyn Boswell’s grandmother was arrested.

Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy confirmed that the search is related to their investigation.

ABC-affiliate WSOC reports firefighters from Catawba County are assisting Wilkes County authorities as they search the pond north of Wilkesboro.
Is that the same area where the stolen car was located and the grandma and boyfriend were arrested?

Also, was Tuesday, the day Hunter apparently dropped off the car for Angela, the same day LE started the investigation and issued the Amber Alert?

I wonder if they were trying to get rid of evidence when they went to where ever they were going.

So at first she pointed towards the child's father, and when that didn't work she changed her story to, 'well actually my mom has had her all this time, and when that didn't pan out, 'well my mom gave her to someone in a silver trailer in Mendota.'

By the way, was there ever a vigil held in Mendota? I lost track because the next thing we knew she had been arrested.

I was thinking the same.. mom was setting up this broken arm injury as an excuse to say Evelyn was injured while under dad’s care, not hers. It’s everyone else’s fault....

Yeah, MB's clearly a dingbat, whatever else we find out.

There's no way she planned anything with malice or masterminded a jot - she's not even smart enough to know that people can easily, without breathing, find out that EP never budged from Louisiana, during the time frame she claims he was running around meeting her in TN for baby handoff. :(:confused:

I also believe she has little or nothing to do with EP at this point in time (and probably by her choice), because if not, surely EP would have mentioned in some type of conversation that he can't just up and run off from his home base. o_O:eek::confused:

Not sure. They were arrested in Traphill which is 30 minutes north of Wilkesboro. The location of the pond they are searching has been described as "north of Wilkesboro" so it's possible. Just dunno. MOO

Here's the info we have in the timeline for the arrest.

February 21, 2020 - AB and WM were arrested on fugitive warrants in Wilkes County, North Carolina, while driving a stolen 2007 BMW, Tennessee license plate 3M9-6W9. (Stolen BMW is HW’s mothers vehicle). Both waived extradition. WM claimed the BMW was a gift from "MB". AB and WM are both charged in Sullivan County, Tennessee with theft of property over $2,500 in connection with the stolen car. AB also faces a violation of probation charge. AB and WM will remain in custody without bond in North Carolina until the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office can return them to Tennessee. The vehicle was spotted by deputies with the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office on February 21 in Elkin, N.C. It was later stopped in Traphill, N.C. WM, 33, was identified as the driver, and AB was identified as the passenger.
