I'm a local too. Is that twitter post from the supposed shooter? The local news also just gave that name as the shooter. Has anyone found any social media for him?

Not from actual shooter, this is another nutjob. But likely was aware of the attack if he was able to post a warning/threat beforehand.
Those guys a likely communicationg/networking via social media, then boast about it.

But that was done a few hours after the shooting. Local time was 1:34pm not 10:34am.

And I, for one, am not going to grieve over his demise. Saved the taxpayers from having to support his back end for probably the rest of his life--- and since I doubt this person was in his 80's ; we would've been looking at 60 + years of having fork over part of our paycheck to ensure his health and well-being.

I'd be interested to know if this perp was heavily influenced and by whom ? Imo, if you preach hate and/or violence, you are partly responsible for those of unstable minds who act on your message.

My condolences to those who have lost loved ones , and swift healing for those wounded in body and spirit. Life will never be the same for so many today.

It was not immediately clear whether the gunman's first name was spelled Muhammad or Mohammad.

He is from Hixson, Tennessee, which is just a few miles across the river from Chattanooga. He was a 2012 engineering graduate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

I heard that also. Normally I agree with Tom Fuentes but his comment was ridiculous. Of course when it is confirmed that (surprise surprise!) Muhammed is in fact a Muslim we will be told "this has nothing to do with Islam...Islam is a religion of Peace..blah blah blah)

As a very proud mother of a very honorable Marine, always a Marine, my heart is breaking today for the families and for our country.

Its reprehensible that these fallen heroes lost their lives all because of hate.

May God be with all of the family members for their lives have forever changed when these four fallen warriors were so cruelly and senselessly murdered.

It is sad to know our military is in as much danger here on their own soil as they are overseas on a battlefield.

We are living in very scary times and anyone and everyone can become a target of an ISIS sympathizer/terrorist.

Imo, we have so many enemies within our own country who are plotting right now to kill more of us. This will only spur them on to do more damage to other unsuspecting innocent citizens.

Kuwait is a wealthy Arab state.
Their citizens get no refugee status.
May be he claimed he was oppressed, that he was a gay or Christian, but obviously that was a lie, he had other plans. How many others like him?
