Arlene says she has all the pings from the tracker Gail put on Matt's car and she's telling places he went from the pings. It sounds like she means the pings AFTER Gail went missing.

In an earlier interview, Arlene said Gail pulled the tracker off the car on the 26th, uploaded the pings, and put the tracker back on his car.

So... ummmm... how did Arlene get these other pings?

I also find the whole thing about the boat key very suspicious. If the key was with the computer, and we know where the key is, where is AD's laptop???

I didn't perceive it that way because AD has stated she begged SMPD to remove the tracker from MP's car to find out where he had been after GP went missing.

The show continued on with AD/Gail's case for another unscheduled half hour. Said Matt was at a very secluded storage facility about 3.2 miles from the home for about 20 minutes. Two days in a row and on one day was there twice. Before GP disappeared. I don't think AD is sure if Gail knew of the unit or not. Will have to listen again.

There was also talk of one of Matt's brothers coming down soon after her missing and some talk about him visiting a friend in Hixson, and a car of Gail's he had borrowed at some time??? I'll have to go back and listen.. AD talks so fast....lol.

I'm guessing the gf is talking....but not sure she is still "with" MP.

MM was with CPD...not HCSO.

I guess it's a new feature you can get on computers. I'm familiar with the fingerprint recognition on computer medication dispensing units in the hospital, but not this technology.

AD said at one point, GP asked her where the boat key was and she replied in the computer bag. GP stated she had left it with Susie...and wouldn't be able to take the boat out.

Yep she said that in this show, that she told LE to go take the tracker off his car, and then she said but they didn't and if they had they would have seen this or something like that.

I'd like to hear from her which pings and if afterward, how she got them.

O/T.....all media is good for Gail, but their ad time and interruptions to go on a "short break" are ad nauseum. IMO Out of every half hour, there is only about 15 mins of the case...and a few is always a recap of where they left off! If you go to the archives for the show....be ready to ff!!!

Thanks Melodie-the article you linked was from 1997, so I wonder what might be available even now, lol! I am familiar with fingerprint as well, but dont know how or why someone would use facial recognition on a computer.

Does any of this strike anyone else as strange? I need to backpedal for a bit-Gail and AD switched computers for some reason (reason escapes me at the moment) yet AD's had facial recognition on hers...must have been Gail's picture or the computer wouldnt work, correct?

With about 13 minutes of SMM, 1 of Hagman, and 1 of Arlene. It was Arlene I wanted to hear from. It was VERY frustrating. SMM is just plain rude.

She had a print out of the GPS tracking that GP had given her....so I'm thinking...before her disappearance.

Thank you. Yes, the ads are very annoying, so is the crazy music. To make sure, I get what you are saying, SB is the neighbor who waved at Gail as she drove away on the day she disappeared, right? This is confusing to me because I thought AD said earlier in another interview that the computer bag with laptop in it and boat key left with Gail in the Jeep from AL to SM. Then, MP was seen in the boat on the lake several times after Gail disappeared. The question was, where did the bag end up? Did she take it in the house and leave it there where it could be found by him after she left or did it stay in the Jeep? So now, where is AD's laptop?? :waitasec:

In one SMM interview, Arlene said Gail took the laptop with her when she left. I was just listening to it today. Left as in drove away from the SM house. We discussed how Arlene could possibly know that.

Ooops! Sorry. I didn't see the date. I grabbed it because it was from PC World. But if you google, there are lots of articles on the technology (maybe even some from this decade, lol). One thing I did notice is that it seems to not be very secure. I think the reason Gail had AD's laptop is because AD loaned it to her because Gail felt that MP was monitoring her computers. Gail and Arlene felt that using AD's laptop during that time was "safer" for her. Apparently from what I saw, the face recognition software can be downloaded on any computer and it may be able to store information for multiple users.

So if they switched computers, Matt was monitoring AD on Gail's instead, right?

To BeanE's point, AD did not see Gail leave so how did she know that Gail took the computer which also contained the boat key....

Oh, for crying out loud.....I wish I knew google maps better. if you search "Signal Mountain storage" There is one that is right on the mountain and could never be described as 3.2 miles away. There are 2 that look about that distance away....and they are both located right by the Wal-Mart where Gail's phone last pinged!
