I'm a little confused why we're talking about the cave? Can someone feel me in, or perhaps I just need more coffee!

I think the caves are near the attempted kidnapping location from back in January but things get posted without context. It isnt directly related to Holly per se.

Miz that is some great sleuthing. I doubt that he is 'our guy', but he would have been in the general area where much of the evidence was found. Who knows what he might have seen while wandering around looking for where to park, and he wouldn't think significant unless he was aware of the HB case.

IMO, you should probably send this on to the TBI number, they might just want to talk to him.

Holly was attending TN Technology Center on an extension campus of UT Martin, but not attending UT Martin.

The media stated that Heather was a "business student" but I never found where she attending classes, although her public FB says "Nashville".

I think I started this conversation. I think it was mention Heather went to UT-Martin. I questioned if that is the same place Holly's brother went. Hope that helps.

Kind of OT, but earlier I drove into town and went down a few different roads. I met a woman walking in the road dressed in full camo, from head to toe. I had to grin, based on all that's discussed here. BTW, I knew her and she is about 65 yrs old.

Yes I like discussion too. My examples were not meant to relate particularly to these two cases but to show a known criminal can commit not only crimes in different locations but also different types of crimes. The remote location itself is probably important in both TN cases. But what drew the suspect to both places IF its the same guy. How would he find one or the other women? Does he go back and forth to both areas? I would assume he did not see either woman for the first time at their remote house. He saw them somewhere... where? Does he live near where the "first" attempt happened? Or was he visiting there and live near Holly?

I think your post is a great example of how hard it is to link these two cases together. If you go down that road, research a missing mom in Shelbyville. (Shelley Mook) It is withing 50 miles of Centerville. Is the perp traveling west? Then, is Shelly's dissapereance related to two others missing in Shelbyville? (Bobby Smelcer & Antonio Taylor)

The media loves making this as big as possible. In reality, you have to follow the evidence as it leads you. I agree with the TBI, don't get tunnel vision, however, chasing every rabbitt leaves you lost as well.

Picture was taken at 11:06 am and he was all over the place caching that day, fwiw. So, I doubt he would have been around to see or hear anything. MOO

I honestly have NO clue! I just read all the posts about it & assume it's related to the possibility perp is hiding Holly in a cave? I never did go far enough back to find the very 1st post about it.

I don't. I was looking for photo's of the inside of that cave and came across that geocaching site and noticed the date of the last picture. I also was trying to see how often people visit that cave. He may have seen something since he was around that area in the woods and it was the day she went missing. They have done searches close to that area heading north is why i think of this cave.

I'm along the lines of thinking she is still alive and maybe be hidden in a cave or somewhere like it.

If the kidnapper lived in or around the Linden area which is approximately half-way between Parsons and Centerville, he would probably shop or go to eat in both areas on occasion. I think the two cases could easily be related. The M O is certainly the same in both cases, early morning hour, houses both close to wooded rural areas, both young blonde women, both attacked right in front of their houses, both grabbed by the arm.

Too many similarities, IMO, to disregard a possible connection.

If I lived in Linden, I would go to Jackson to shop "locally" then Memphis or Nashville. There is a good catfish place in Centerville but no reason to drive from Linden.

Agree. Not much going on in any of these towns unless one is hunting, riding, or visiting relatives.

With Shelly Mook (from what I recall I have not paid too much attention to that outside of TV) I think that is not related. Could be wrong but I thought her marital situation, etc. implied something else. And the MO would be totally different than going to an estranged husbands house during a bitterly contested divorce, and then disappearing with her car found on fire.

I dont know the Bobby and Antonio cases but if they are not blonde women who live in isolated houses and were approached in the early morning they wouldnt fit the pattern (so far and if there is a pattern).

I try to be real mechanical with my thinking in general. And dont buy wild or complicated theories.

Investigators have used DNA to determine whose blood was found in Holly Bobo's carport. They won't release a name until an arrest is made.

Just MOO, but I think the cave is off on a dirt road that can be accessed from 5 Forks Road. The cave isn't much of a cave. It's in a upcroping kind of in the way of the road, or the roads has to curve around to avoid it. There's quite a few good sized rocks around the entrance to the cave. I think he and Holly were on those rocks for a while, while crime was committed. He then tried taking her into the cave, but it 'wasn't good enough, so he took her up a hill to the right of the cave. That's what I told TBI.

This is all just my opinion but it was a strong enough suspicion I wanted to share it with someone. I have no idea if such a cave exists. From the google maps it looks like there's some dirt roads that take off from 5 Forks Road. They look like a lightening bolt on the google maps....don't know if anyone has been over there looking yet or not.
