Found Deceased TN - Jesse Reed, 32, Humphreys County, 5 March 2018

"One warrant was served at the residence of Jesse Reed in Peagram, TN. The other was served at a home near where Reed reportedly drove into the river."

"Many questions now surround the investigation. The female that was reportedly also in the truck has been identified as Reed's wife. The HCSO says they have no evidence she was in the Jeep."

So, was he put into the Jeep after he was dead? Then, driven to some location (not the River) and dumped. The Jeep was then "launched", unoccupied, into the Tennessee River. Looks like he is not a small guy. Someone would have needed help with this "accident."

The search resumed Saturday at 8 a.m. near Masons Dock in Waverly with the support of a dive team, boats, drones, and K9’s.

The timeline of events is being looked in to as they move forward.

Search warrants were executed last night around 10:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Bluff View Drive in Pegram and another warrant at a home in Waverly. The investigation of those homes continued until 4:00 a.m. Saturday.

They’re also wondering if the recent passing of Matthew Brooks, his good friend, neighbor, and fellow Nashville Fire Department medic, is the reason Reed may be in danger or worse.“It’s a very strange case,” Edwards said. "We have been told about their relationship and how they were pretty good friends, but a lot of people say Jesse is not the kind of guy who would take his life."

After watching one thing to mention is that his house is very close to where the accident was, the reporter described it as walking distance

It is entirely possible that Jesse was not in the vehicle and is currently a missing person. HCSO has been in constant contact with Nashville Fire Department and Cheatham EMS as Jesse works for both. Sheriff Davis said, "This has been a group effort to locate Jesse. He is part of the public safety family and having Nashville Fire and Cheatham EMS on scene has been beneficial."

There was a reporter on the scene and apparently it was on the water, because he said he waited fearing Jesse would be soon found, but after an hour in the water, the divers didn't find him.

This article is dated Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Since the search warrants weren't served until 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 9, I'm thinking his scent was picked up in the vehicle.
