Police searching for missing Knoxville woman (wate.com)

Lan Nguyen, 29, was reported missing on Monday, December 13.

• Lan was last seen at her apartment in Aventine Northshore on Monday afternoon.
• Police reported her personal belongings were still inside of her apartment and her vehicle was found at her apartment complex.
• Nguyen is 5’5” and 115 pounds with black hair.

Last seen Monday, reported missing Monday, and police apparently did at least a cursory search of her house to determine her belongings are there? It sounds like there's reason for concern.

Noting changes in her physical description: ... black hair with red and blue highlights. She also has glasses, according to family.

WVLT News spoke with Nguyen’s brother, K, who said he had not heard from his sister since Monday afternoon. He said he texted his sister at 3:30 p.m., but had not heard from her past 4:00 p.m. He said that he thought she was busy and would respond later, but became concerned when her boyfriend arrived at 7 p.m. looking for her. Her brother said he searched for Lan with her boyfriend and father but could not find her. He said they searched her favorite restaurants, checked with hospitals and emergency rooms, and called everyone they believed she might be with.
