He does own a jeep. There is a picture of it on his IG with a wreath on it. However, that is not what he is driving right now....He' driving a:

silver Nissan Rogue with Tennessee license plate of 976ZPT

Do we know where the Jeep is? Any way he stashed it and changed vehicles?

I feel pretty certain, he has changed vehicles by now. I really think her best hope is the Media. Assure this child, that she would be welcome with open arms and a red carpet homecoming and she might see that no one is blaming her, and people love her. I think she will miss her family soon. Particularly the older sister... Encouraging her to believe that there is hope for a different solution to her pain might give her the courage to come home.

I am confident he ditched the Nissan too. He does seem to idealize the jeep though--a Jeep is in an Instagram pic; he says he is a Jeep lover in his profiles etc. So Jeeps for him might signify youth and adventure, riding with the breeze in your face, going "off road." That's what made me wonder if LE knew where his Jeep was. If he could've left it in a parking garage an hour away, for ex, and picked it up? Or is it at home in his driveway?

I'm just so worried for her. I can't believe they've managed to stay hidden this long, it's even been on the news here and we're pretty far away. I can't imagine there are many people in the US who aren't aware of the story by now, someone has to spot them.

THIS.

Did the school not have a guidance counselor or school therapist (even a visiting one who perhaps worked with the district or region)? ET is so obviously of a vulnerable makeup (new student coming from homeschooling background, parent with abuse allegations that no doubt everyone knew of) that I now have to wonder why she wasn't given counseling assistance pro-actively by school officials. These reports of adults, teachers at that, acting like teenage "mean girls" astounds. Even taking away the crime that actually wound up happening in this case, ostracizing an already troubled fifteen year-old who most likely has trust issues and possible depression/anxiety issues is a recipe for ruining that individual's life.

Yes they do, and the school instructed ET to consult them.

Because neither wants to be found, as of yet,,, But <mod snip> persuaded her away, and she can persuaded back. jmo.

Latest update via local news has me not feeling very hopeful. [emoji17]
I hope I'm wrong and they just dug in deep but after 9 days I would've thought the pressure of being with him 24\7 alone would have brought her home. No one seems to have saw the car past Monday they had to drive a short distance or ditch it early IMO

I'm starting to think that they're a lot closer to home than we've been thinking. Let's just hope he hasn't managed to construct some sort of survivalist bunker in the woods.

They almost have to be last Monday at 6 was when we received the first alert. Granted it was only an endangered child alert and not an AA but it still come across the phones tv and news like an AA does. And afaik No one has reported even seeing the Nissan before the alert only the Decatur info.

I'm amazed that they've managed to stay off the grid for so long...I'm pretty sure every single LEO in the country is keeping an eye out for them...I know my husband would love to nail the guy. I really hope someone can find them soon and get the poor girl home where she belongs.

I can't imagine his wife's grief. She went to work 9 days ago thinking it was a normal day only to be told he kidnapped his student and is in love with her.

I teared up listening to her plead with him to turn himself in...her entire world turned upside down. I can't even imagine how his kids feel...when I was listening to her, I tried to think of how I would feel if she was my mom, and it's heartbreaking.

Their kids, their grandkids... this ruined a bunch of lives, all because he cannot think with his 'big' head. I am so pissed off about this case. I am pissed at him, at her mother, at the school....

 Thread #3 is open and ready for posting. I'll leave this thread open for a few more minutes in case you are in the process of composing a post, but please start making the move over now. Thanks!

I see them in a somewhat remote cabin with some of the comforts of home - indoor plumbing, for example. I don't think they are totally roughing it. JMHO. Also, JMHO, but I don't see them ditching the vehicle.
