WCBI Action News 5 just reported the search did continue through the night.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a missing child alert in west Tennessee. The Chester County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 2-year-old Noah Israel Chamberlin.
No new info. I hoped to find out that he was found, no such luck yet..

Indeed grandma must be beside herself with guilt and grief and worry.
I think they're going to find him today and he'll be alright. He may be a little hungry and cold but he's going to be alright.

No doubt she is. But it's SO easy for littles to slip away unnoticed. My own did it a few times and it always blew my mind how fast they are for having such short little legs.

When one of my kids was 4 or 5 I took him to a drs appointment. Just a building with a sidewalk, parking lot, and some landscaping. No big trees, bushes, anything, no paths or roads anywhere near. Yet he disappeared - he hid on purpose (he was really into hide and seek) but it was like he just vanished. All I did was turn around to lock my car (my remote didn't work too well so I always made sure to see my lights blink) and he was gone. No sound, nothing. It was surreal. I shouted that he needed to come out because it wasn't funny, and thankfully he did. There was a small part of a wall by a rain pipe that stuck out, barely noticeable, and he was behind it. I almost had a full blown panic attack.

tl;dr I feel so bad for the grandma. It literally takes just seconds for a kiddo to vanish...

Praying hard for little guy. Some two year old boys can take off and be gone in the blink of an eye. My little guy would probably not cry, either. He doesn't equate being alone with being in danger. I wonder if rescuers ever play recordings of the child's mom or dad or whoever, calling for the child? I think at this age, Noah will be found by listening hard for movements and looking hard, as in little Rainn's case. Moo.

I've also been following a Facebook page that search volunteers set up for him. Heading out now to take some of the supplies they requested.

"There are no new developments, but we have first light and a fresh set of volunteers ready to search the area," Mapes said this morning.

Army National Guard helicopters were expected to join the search this morning, Mapes said, and items from Noah's bed had been gathered for dogs that are helping in the search.

More than 100 people gathered this morning before 7 a.m. to help in the search. They were loaded onto buses but then unloaded before leaving for the search area. They were told there had been "a development in the case" and that more search dogs were being brought to the search.
