I posted earlier today that I was so saddened that Noah hadn't been found yet, but now I just want to sit here and cry. I work with preschool age children and this little boy is breaking my heart. Please Lord guide the searchers to Noah and keep the searchers safe.

Crap! Maybe one of the lost will find him in his hiding spot. I still have faith. Noah is coming home alive !

Some of the remaining searchers say they're hearing that a specialized search team is coming in to assist.

It was a rough day at work checking in here for updates on the search.
Near tears all afternoon.
Thank you all for keeping me updated.

None of us hit Powerball, and I don't think we wanted to win that as much as we want these missing to be found.
Keep the faith!!!

Six searchers are lost!

Search teams are all being sent back. Six volunteers are currently lost in the woods and law enforcement is having to find them. @JSunNews

I think that probably illustrates a lot about how easily Noah may have been able to get himself lost and still not have been located, when we've had people questioning how a little boy could get lost and not have been found by now. :(

6 adults (or at least surely not any really young children in that group) who presumably had at least some brief information about how to best search safely, possibly even told which way/direction to head, likely some degree of supplies on them and having been told to wear bright clothing (not that we know if they really were), and at least likely more prepared for the conditions have gotten lost enough that they not only haven't been found yet but are needing more resources to find them.

Poor little Noah, alone and a small child with none of those advantage, it's obvious just based on that alone would be even far more difficult to find than this group of 6 grown searchers who weren't immediately located themselves either.

Praying they find these searchers and can get the search for Noah back underway.

And of course continued prayers for protection of sweet little Noah and for peace for his family and all who love him, as well as wisdom for LE and all involved in the search.

O/T, Krig...

I noticed your list of all the wee ones still missing... So sad...

However... You may have not heard... But Lonzie Barton has been found...

HTH...:seeya:

Thank you for the reminder to change that!

Tennessee. (The state is usually listed in the thread title for future reference.)

Oh my goodness, lets hope that they are found safe and sound quickly! So scary.
This has me curious, Is the cell phone signal really bad in that area where contact can't be made???

Yep. :( The searchers all have neon vests with reflectors, hats, gloves, boots and flashlights. Not to mention cell phones although reception in the area is sketchy so I don't know if they can use them to find their way back. Imagine one lost toddler with none of that. Damn.

In the meantime no updates on the lost searchers and two of the reporters are about to leave for the night. I'm scrambling to find reporters still on scene who will be tweeting. I guess the six are part of one group - no word on that. Even though searchers are working in two-hour shifts I think people are getting tired and desperate and with so many of them out in the woods things are getting a little sloppy. It's been a long week for everyone.

ETA: krig 101 - just saw your post. Yeah I think cell reception's bad - the periscope update was a mess, kept dropping out. It's probably even worse in the woods.

So sad to hear that searchers are lost. Praying that they will stumble upon little Noah.

(Ray of hope, as Kimi posted earlier, your name is so awesome. Especially right now at this moment...all I feel is sadness and I'm truthfully losing hope here and I feel bad for even saying that...but 3 nights, how can he make it out there? There is just no way unless there is a miracle imo...)

One of my friends is heavily involved in the search for Noah. I won't out her here, but she is very active on social media. She told me more than 1000 volunteers are involved, SAR teams from 3 states, every LE department in the area. Personally, I think he was taken. JMO as always. I hope I'm proved wrong.

Six searchers are lost!

I check back hoping for good news and ugh...THIS. Poor searchers. I know they are cold, tired, hungry. See this is why LE is reluctant at times to have too many amateur searchers...because now they have to go out and look for them. Untrained people are huge liabilities. Bless their heart, I know people want to help but this makes the situation more difficult. I hope they are found quickly. JMO.

Thank you so much margarita25. Praying for a miracle here too. It's all we have besides positive thoughts and prayers. Wish we were all close and could help. Wonderful community there in Tennessee though.

Not out of the question, imo.

I really hope I'm wrong but if law enforcement believe his in the area around the house i just don't see how he could survive the first night let alone 3, especially as it rained the first night. He was reportedly in only a long sleeve shirt, it's about 25 in Oklahoma right now and taking the trash out with a Hoodie on for a few minutes it's cold! I grew up camping and have camped in these temperatures fully dressed with a sleeping bag and it felt very cold. Even hiding under leaves or hiding anywhere a 2 year old I don't believe could survive that :-( I hope the missing volunteers are found safe it just goes to show how easy it is to get lost out there.
