It's great to see flyers are getting posted but I'm at a loss here. The post links to FB where it warns that YT podcasts are detrimental to LE and the family. But both CB and DW chose to participate on YT podcasts more than once. What message is the family sending and aren't CB and DW "the family?"

Are they saying they (CB and DW) now regret talking to YT interviewers? Didn't DW talk to the Cher people just last night?

And I also see another post that says ...and God said 'I have heard your prayer.' Has something broken in the case? Wouldn't LE tell us about news? What prayer has been heard?

I'm really confused.

The post yesterday God said 'I have heard your prayer' confused me also.
I didn't know what to think. I thought more news would maybe come out about the case but nothing yet.

eta - I have stopped watching the Cher's interviews. I feel like DW is talking so much about anything just to talk and be on YT.

One question - I know there is no clear timeline of full events, but one thing that really bugs me, is that we don't seem to know whether the boys were at home that day or if they went to work with DW. Am I remembering that correctly? That seems like a VERY easy one for LE to figure out, if I'm recalling this correctly it just doesn't seem to make any sense why that piece information is so difficult to nail down.

My speculation on this is that it has everything to do with them being minors. If anything about them is publicly stated, they can’t consent to it and are probably either in school or just about to start. I’d imagine they don’t need any more attention. JMO.

Agreed.
Summer, and by default the adults around her -- are the only focus for LE now.
That is not to say the driver of the red truck (doubtful, imo) or a third party may become important to Summer's case.
The only concern LE would have re. the boys is to firm up some sort of timeline, and understand who went where, and what about the missing 2 or more hours ?

If LE are still muddled, that's concerning !
But I'm hoping that's not the case.

Children and infants have a keen sense for whose company they feel most comfortable. I had a niece who had the same behavior that he is describing. She would only sit with me or only I could hold her. That was only one thanksgiving, but everyone was on notice that day.

IMO, it doesn't matter how many go arounds Don takes before saying something.
Don Wells is not a book worm or an author or orator. He is an aging man that loves his daughter. Speaking his emotions to other people, under stress and to strangers has to be taxing. It would be nice if people from AA or rehab with a law license to speak on his behave would help him to know that he is supported. They are not going to volunteer that action, that's not how personal issues get resolved.

He also sounds like he is feeling a lot of guilt. I believe him when he says he's seen a lot, done a lot, and heard a lot. He knows how dangerous and ugly people can be. Now he sounds tormented. What a horrible place to be. To know how sick people are, now he fears his innocent daughter is at the ugly human's mercy. Hopefully, she was taken by people who want to protect her. I hope that she took one of the adult's phone and called a friend who picked her up.

Don is trying to say a lot more. I hope he's not suicidal. The "sooner or later" comment is defeatist and chilling. If law enforcement would arrest one of them, Don or Candus, for unrelated charges it would be a good move. I mostly hope he is innocent, it is already established that his past has convicted him on past actions.

Onto another subject, the CM video where DW and CB call in and argue with CM... I was listening and looking at the transcript for about the first minute. The transcript was missing words being said by both DW and CM (there was no foul language at all during this part, and both DW and CM were speaking clearly; i think I stopped listening before CB said anything). This was an auto-generated transcript on the video itself, not a transcript provided by a WSer. Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

Onto another subject, attention Don Wells: when you call the press together and make a statement that is a press conference. I would not recommend this for you.

But, what you can do is a press release. It is a written statement you send to all media outlets (that you choose; you can just email).

The media outlets might use some of it or none of it, but they will all be starting with the same information about the search for Summer. You can include photographs of Summer with it.

You should keep it to one page. Say that Summer is missing, describe her. Say that the TBI is searching for her, but so is her family. Ask media outlets to pass along your request that people search their own land and outbuildings. Possibly the TBI has a template you can use to get started.

I know i am not the only person who has done PR... So, maybe someone has better ideas.
