Yeah, i don't know for sure.

I just try to think of every possibility.

I think they have definite answers on some things that are still a question mark to us, but idk if those led to actual clues or not. Such as i think they have a firmer timeline, but some of it might not matter that much.

You know, I took a step back and read your post again. LE should have a good idea of the timeline, they were out doing activities that day. Certain things would give a definite time stamp, checking into ER, time prescription was dropped off, then picked up. Groceries paid for and vapes, my opinion is they all have security cameras.

I cannot find the video, isn't there one out there that has their vehicle entering the swimming hole? I thought I saw it on an approved video The Interview Room, and it showed them entering the swim hole at 1:06?

I firmly believe that baby girl came home between 3:00 and 3:30. If she got lost in the woods, how far could she have gotten and not have SARs find her?

@Willow Knight , yeah they have a timeline for the stuff in Kingsport and maybe some other things. But, maybe it doesn't matter.

I am sure they (LE) went all those places and talked to people who worked there. But, i don't think it matters because they must have proof that SW was not missing until "early afternoon".

But, then Summer went missing under "unclear" circumstances.

We have CB's version of events which, if it is taken as 100 percent truth, includes a lot of activity after they got home what with doing laundry, repotting some plants, etc. Then there's looking for Summer for ten minutes before calling DW and then LE.

Idk... I still am struck how there is no food mentioned at all this day. I just have to think Summer was probably really hungry and hungry kids are cranky. Hungry adults are cranky, too.

I don't know what happened. It might be that even the people who were there don't know what happened.

I think it is possible Summer deliberately went down to the end of the driveway. What happened after she got there, idk.

I hate to say it, the longer we wait for charges against Summer's parents the less likely they are guilty.

Are they awful parents with dangerous habits? Yes. Is their home fit for raising children? Hell no. I think the parents flaws played a role in what happened to Summer. But neither of them have the IQ or the luck to get away with it. An accidental ingestion of narcotics and family coverup sounds more plausible than any abduction theory, but this far out without naming suspects? I'm leaning now that the family isn't involved.

Everyone who was supposed to take care of Summer ultimately failed her. I can picture mom and Grandus zooted out of their minds on god knows what while a targeted abduction occured. Why? Revenge for Dad's supposed drug debt.

I cringe so hard when I watch the interviews if you don't have the self control not to get blatantly messed up for an interview you have a substance abuse problem.

At the very least I'm happy CPS got those kids out of there. They deserve a much higher quality of life.

Prayers for Summer. This case haunts me

Respectfully snipped. It is not unheard of for search teams to miss a subject in dense woods or fields with thick vegetation/crops. I have seen it happen a number of times in my neck of the woods. The training of SAR teams vary, even though there are established ASTM standards for training along with FEMA ICS. Some teams rely completely on their dogs and handlers, some go grid and line searches and some have advanced technology like drones, LiDar and Flir while others have very basic technology like Trackers and Equine teams. A lot depends on the team training level and resources. One of the most common mistakes is not to check an area because the searchers feel that the person would not have ventured into the pickers/poison ivy/thick undergrowth/deep wash/rock scree field, etc.

Exactly. How many times have we heard "Remains found in an area that was previously searched"? Way too many times. I could start listing names but you know them.

And that hilly terrain with heavy undergrowth looks really nasty to search. Line and grid would be difficult. It looks like you could be standing next to something and not see it because of the shrubs and vines.

@Trackergd , i believe it was you who told about a person whose dog tracked a little girl to a bush where she was hiding and that person coaxed her out. (This post will tangent.)

I think sometimes little children are AFRAID of the activity of a search and keep hiding. It is hard for anyone to scream someone else's name and not sound angry (even if they are not, even if they are absolutely perfect parents). So, i wonder if some little children are afraid of some of the search activities. I think this is the beauty of using dogs because many children (particularly Summer) love dogs.

So, unless the dogs never got close to her... If she could have come out, i think she would have. She seemed to have a lot of curiosity and it is known she loved dogs.

However, my cousin was in an overgrown vacant lot in Nashville and it took more than one search of the lot to find her. (She was deceased.) People who weren't searching even went into lot and didn't see her. Dogs were not used although the search that found her was a planned, careful search. The point is, it is hard to find people especially if you are looking for a living person and the person is deceased. Kathy was 12, but a 12 year old is still pretty small.

Summer is only 5. She is just really a tiny thing. R could pick her up and hold her in church.

But, i think LE does have some kind of evidence that contradicts "lost in the woods". However, i do think they believe it's possible she might be in the woods.

Here in the fence condo, i just don't know what happened to Summer.

I kept wishing everyone in this case would stop talking and now that they have I'm even more worried. Where could this little girl have gone?

I am hoping Equusearch and Hawkins County will do a massive search once the leaves fall.

Lots of good points here, especially that SW went down the driveway on her own accord. From the vids we've seen SW appears very active and free spirited. Not meant in a negative way, but kids do things that parents often times think they won't. Maybe SW never left the hill before but there is a first time for everything. Possibly that red truck has meaning, more than I gave it credit before.

As for SW and no mention of eating that particular day, there may be a valid reason for that. From watching interviews it appears the family ate at will. It was mention that Gma gave SW candy and DW often brought candy home for SW. If SW got hungry it would not surprise me if she was given a bag of chips. Since SW was up earlier than normal that day and had an active day, I'd think she would be tired. Very tired by 5:30. If she would have had a full meal, it would surprise me if she never fell asleep right after eating. Many kids that age do.

I hope SW is found and justice is served if necessary. She holds many of our hearts, I also contacted our local media trying to get coverage for SW, thanks to WS for the encouragement and suggestions.

At one time is was a common practice to put pictures of missing children on milk jugs, I wonder if we couldn't get pizza delivery to do the same?

Hugs to all that care for SW.

Thank you for your insight. How far in those woods do you think SW could have traveled in an hour? She had a big day and I think she would have run out of energy after not too long. If she was by herself, I'm thinking if she is lost then she would be closer to the home than if she were abducted.

Those in the know, do you think there is a huge difference for finding a person that is on land verses a person that is in water?

No more interviews? How long has it been without people talking?

If that is the case, this would be a perfect time to obtain a public spokesperson to keep SW's name out there. A person that can give any updates, such as we are continuing to search, keep SW's name in the media, keep the focus on Summer. Show vids of Summer playing, talking, etc. Plaster SM with her name and story. This is the time to get SW in all media with focus on Summer only.
