Sheriff Wright said he did not tell him or investigators, he told someone else that told them. He said he does not want to give him any more attention, but he owed it to Families to search. There will not be anymore searches unless TK gives more detailed information to them. They are still in the woods.

"We're trying to get a game plan together to find out exactly where and what to do. Investigators have been talking to him," Wright said. "We're not going to try to keep that quiet. We're going to go search."

Kohlhepp told investigators that two people are buried near Interstate 26 in Spartanburg County in the northwest part of the state. Wright is unsure who the supposed additional victims are or exactly where they are, he said.
"We haven't been able to confirm anything he's claimed yet," Wright said. "It's not to say that the details are not sketchy because it's been so long, but we're obligated to go check."
Serial killer Todd Kohlhepp claims 2 more victims buried in South Carolina

Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said in a press conference Wednesday, just before noon, that officials, working on a tip, are using cadaver dogs and teams on foot to search through a heavily wooded area off Interstate 26 in Spartanburg County.

Sheriff Wright says the tip that there might be two more bodies came from a documentary crew. That crew is filming alongside the searchers; however, all other media is being kept back from the area.

Sheriff Wright says he doesn’t know who the victims may be but third hand information they have from the tip indicates the victims may have been pizza delivery men. Sheriff Wright says they haven’t been able to confirm that information at this time.

Authorities search for more possible Kohlhepp victims in the Upstate

BBM. The documentary Crew giving the tip has me thinking this is a wild goose chase. JMO. On the other hand that detail about pizza delivery men is oddly specific-- are there any missing pizza delivery men? Wouldn't they have some idea of who they are looking for with that kind of detail? :confused:o_O

I'm looking for pizza delivery men missing from SC in 2003 right now.
That said - the potential either for a) TK goose chase or b) documentary guys drumming up action is pretty good.
I saw that they are there filming while LE search.

TK is an antisocial narcissist. He's not going to just give away information with nothing in return. He's going to try to use all information as a bargaining chip.
I personally know several people involved with his goings-on (including the illegal activities) and he's spun many wild tales that are impossible to be true, but also threw in the crimes he did commit that seemed likely to be untrue but turned out to be. There is no way to tell what is the truth and what isn't, so just about everything will need to be checked out for verification.

Todd Kohlhepp property auction items: What did people buy and why?

"People lined up in vehicles Thursday outside serial killer Todd Kohlhepp's 96-acre property in Woodruff to collect items they bid on through a short-sale auction.

All of the more than 550 items, including tools, books, artwork, an ATV and a gun safe, were sold in an online auction that began Saturday and ended Wednesday....

Doug Humphries, of Spartanburg, said he doesn't normally do auctions but felt compelled to bid on some tools so the proceeds can go to Kohlhepp's victims.

"I just heard they were doing an auction and decided I would try my hand at it," he said. "I'm not somebody that's looking for anything in particular. It's my way of doing some good for the families. A little bit of money is not going to help them that much but every little bit helps."...

One person bought boxing gloves and a boxing bag but wouldn't give his name. Another bought a Todd Kohlhepp real estate sign. Many of his real estate signs went for more than $100 each.

The highest item sold was a Yamaha Grizzly ATV for $3,200. A collection of eight solar panels sold for $530.

Brandi Wroten came to pick up her winning bids: a stool, several books and a set of dental tools....

Reid Sherard, Kohlhepp's court-appointed receiver, said he approved the short-sale auction for the items to clear the land and make it ready for selling. The proceeds from both the real property and personal property will be used to pay out judgments to the victims and victims' family members who have filed civil lawsuits against Kohlhepp...."

Most notably, a reference that appears to be about South Carolina's serial killer survivor, Kala Brown.

In the opening verse of the album's first song, 'The Ringer,' Eminem says "...I'm off the chain like Kala Brown."

Brown was held captive for two months by serial killer Todd Kohlhepp on his rural property in Spartanburg County. She was found chained up by the neck in a storage container two months after she was reported missing with her boyfriend, Charlie Carver.

The song titled "The Ringer" off the album "Kamikaze" includes the line "I'm off the chain like Kala Brown."
