Chilling new details about the fate of Haleigh Cummings emerged from the attorney of Hank "Tommy" Croslin Jr., proposing that the 5-year-old was dead hours before her disappearance was reported.
(How would Tommy know that Haleigh was already dead?)
Croslin Jr., was with his cousin Joe Overstreet when the two went to a Putnam County boat ramp with the girl where she was dumped into the St. Johns River inside a bag.
(So, Tommy is placing himself at the boat ramp with Joe. Could this be why LE has threated to charge him with murder as well? He is putting himself at the disposal/crime scene.)"Hank Jr. saw Joe take Haleigh down to the dock, when he came back, he didn't have Haleigh."
(So why didn't Tommy stop Joe if this were the case? Tommy is bigger, he has children, why would he just let Joe take Haleigh out of the van?)
Werter said he would not say where Croslin was during the attack but said the two men drove to the dock with the kindergartner in a bag. (If Haleigh was already in the bag and Werter will not say were the attack happen, then it must of happen at the MH or at another MH IMO. What was Tommy doing and why did he not help Haleigh?)
"According to Tommy, she was limp, quiet. "She may have already been dead when she left the trailer."
(How would Tommy know so many details about Haleigh being limp if he did not watch/see what happen to her and where? Why not give the whole story about what happen?)
Fields, said Misty hid beneath the covers with 3-year-old Jr. when the attack happened. He said she remembers hearing a van door slide open and close and saw a black bag or something similar placed over the girl.
(If Misty was under the covers how did she see Joe place a black bag over her? I don't see Misty just hiding while someone is assumable enraged about a gun.)
Werter said he has been angry with detectives who want cooperation from his client but have been
threatening to charge him with felony murder. (Why would LE threaten Tommy? Did they find something at the river and are just holding back? I know they are probably trying to scare him, but IMO they know he is full of it.)
Chief Rick Ryan of the PCSO said investigators were not commenting on the case. (No comment from LE means to me that everyone is still a POI in this case and nobody has been cleared. IMO, LE does not want the public nor the POI to know they are on to them.)
Werter said he has filed a motion to modify Hank Croslin Jr.'s sentence.
(Good Luck, didn't Tommy plea No-Contest? I thought if someone plead No-Contest they could not appeal? Plus, Tommy has lied over and over, they need to charge him with obstruction of justice, hindering a murder investigation, and being an accomplice. He is admitting he was at the scene of the crime and at the dump site. Bring the charges on I say, maybe he will finally tell the truth!)
He said the Sheriff's Office should act on what his client and his sister have said.
(They have from what it appears. They did the intensive search of the St.John's river and even Dunn's Creek area from what I heard. They have followed up, what more do Werter and Fields want?)
Overstreet drove to Croslin Jr.'s house in a van borrowed from another Croslin brother and went to the MH where Misty was with the children. (How did Joe get the keys to the van? It says he borrowed it from Timmy, so was Timmy with him and they are keeping his name out of this? Chelsea has said that Timmy was asleep, Ron told Cobra that Timmy was awake around 1AM. Chelsea was awake late she claims, up until around the time Misty called her that Haleigh was missing. IMO Chelsea would know what time Joe took the van. What are Chelsea and Timmy hiding?)
They went there around midnight, Werter said. Ronald Cummings, was at work and the two were looking for a World War II-era machine gun to hunt deer. (Hm-mm midnight? That was the time Ron was to get off work but decided to work over time. Why did Misty not call Ron then? She had a cell phone that she turned off after their fight around 8:30PM. If she was so scared why didn't she at least call Ronald? Oh, but she did she claims but not when the so called attack happen, she called as he was pulling into the driveway, after he stopped off for ciggs, bear. How do they know for sure Ron was at work? The fact they even put this statement about Ron not being there makes me wonder esp since Ron called Tommy around 9:30-10:00PM that night. Why did Ron not go home and check on his children? Could it be because maybe they were not at his MH? IMO, Misty and Tommy are still protecting Ronald. JMO)
Fields said this week that the gun had been taken somewhere else.
(Where was the gun taken? I thought Joe got mad that he could not find the gun, if Misty knew where it was at why not just give it to Joe so that he would not harm Haleigh? In her first interview she says she wishes they would of taken her instead. Then why not give up the gun? Why not call Ron and tell him, hey if you don't give Joe the gun he is going to harm Haleigh? Why was a gun more important than Haleigh that Misty and Tommy let Joe kill her? I don't buy it happen this way IMO....)
Werter said
Croslin Jr. never told Misty where Haleigh was taken but took investigators to a boat ramp just north of Welaka on April 13. Divers spent days searching the water.
(Hm-mm...I thought Misty had said that Tommy took her to the area in Dec? Which is it? There stories are not matching up like Werter and Fields claim.)
Overstreet's attorney, Shawn Sirgo, said that Overstreet was with another relative when he learned Haleigh was missing. (If Joe was with another relative and they have spoken on his behalf then he has an alibi. I would love to know where Joe was. Chelsea said he was staying at her house, yet said early on in her gut she felt Joe took Haleigh. She was up all night pretty much, she should know if and when Joe left her house and with who. She would know if he took the van, but she can only say she thinks he may of taken the van. Chelsea's story is not adding up IMO.)
