idk - but imo i think it is real - i think martinez is very passionate in getting justice for his victim and is appalled by nurmis tricks and constant delays that have caused the family so much grief - and i think nurmi feels animosity towards martinez because he is a better atty, he is completley out gunned - imo

What exactly does Nurmi have to work with?

I don"t have any idea about them, but I know where I live, attorneys belong to the same clubs and organizations and are friendly with each other.

Nurmi did not want to be her attorney. Who would?

LOL. OK long shot here, but after she left, was the little pug loose?

the roomates said that the doggy gate had been set up so napolean couldn't get up the stairs to ta's bedroom door - which was unusual because he had always had run of the house - iirc

Napoleon, who usually had run of the house was deterred from entering the upper level by a gate. Put there by ?

No prizes for the answer to this one. It's a giveaway. lol

Polly, I did it again. Sorry. You are just a faster typist than I!! But we seem to have the same thoughts on this subject. Next time, I'll count to ten, and wait for your post. lol
Needless to say, I agree with your post.

The very first female assigned AND Victoria W both got off, but Nurmi got stuck. He is getting well compensated however, and I HATE his strategy.

(Trout) Oh I think I know! Waving a fish, he hits the other one in the eye. Fish Eye. Fish Eye Lens, Camera in Washing Machine!

I'm going back to bed too! Did we all catch something here last night???
:trout: I don't know what the trout means...best I could do.

I will say that everyone i asked their opinion at court told me they think she WILL testify. Fwiw. Not any kinda formal survey or anything.

OMG...I had not thought about the jury asking her questions! There is NO WAY she will take the stand..MOO:banghead:

For whatever it's worth, last Thursday morning on In Session, four out of four "experts" (guests?) thought that she would not take the stand.

Where was it that Travis told Jodi how insulted he was for invading his privacy? Was that an email to her? Would the Jury be privy to that?

Those words of Travis have had a big impact on me. I keep thinking how Jodi, not only killed him so brutally, but somehow managed to reveal even more private matters of Travis. You know what I mean if you are following the trial. Underneath her evil is more evil! Her plan seemed to include collecting private info on Travis. Jurors might start to wonder if taping a phone sex talk wasn't to blackmail him at a later date.

Introducing the recorded phone talk is further proof to me that Jodi was invading every aspect of Travis' life and his privacy to use against him. I want the jurors to hear what Travis said about his privacy in his own words to her.

napolean was playing tug a war w/ them? inexpensive pillow that shed easily?

When my dog gets the zoomies, she bounces off the pillows and I find threads from the tassels and fringe all over the place.

any other guesses on why those darned pillow tassels were all over the place at the crime scene?

(they really bug me)
After hearing about the French maid outfit, the ponytails, and the boyshorts, the tassels might have been used like they appeared in The Graduate (a 1967 movie with Dustin Hoffman).

I can't see them being able to admit the actual recording even if she takes the stand because if I am reading the laws correct, the recording was a crime and I don't think any court lets you use evidence obtained in the commission of a crime. If any of the attorneys want to jump in and correct me, please do!

How could they prove TA did not know?

BBM

Likely not, as it would be hearsay and if the defense were worth anything, they'd object to it being admitted on those grounds.

He could have been in there earlier before JA got there and locked him out.

That subject was brought up (same story) by at least two of T's friends. I believe it happened shortly before she murdered him, and accounts for that 41 or 42 minute phone call determined to be initiated by T that Juan brought up.
