Did u guys catch this dialogue?

JW: How do we know she wasn't able to tell anybody vs. she just doesn't want to get in any trouble?

RS: I guess that could be an alternative explanation, but when something horrible like that happens - can you imagine the feeling of isolation, if you can't turn to a parent? If you can't turn to a friend? If you can't turn to a professional to seek some help? The turmoil must have been incredible so i consider that to be a significant indication that she suffered from that disorder.

Me: WHAT?!?!?!? You didn't answer the question. And your diagnosis is based on your projection of what you thought she went thru?

Revoke his license! Worst shrink ever.

He has a license? :what:

Oh! You meant a driver's license! :floorlaugh:

oh geez.....I do not think I can listen to a Snow White story while defending JA. What a joke!

Welp, there you have it, murderers suffer from PTSD because of the murder, so notify all convicted murderers...APPEAL TIME!!

Jeebus, that guy is .....an idiot.

It's kind of like asking the jury to go easy on the Menendez brothers because they were orphans.

Whats with JA's facial expression while staring blankly at the quack?

It almost seemed as though she was trying hard to push out some kind of post traumatic crocodile tear.

I hope someone (juror or JM) asks this 'expert' if he has listened to any of Jodi's cross-exam testimony and if his theory/diagnosis fits with her combative, won't-give-an-inch, won't give direct answers, argumentative attitude towards the Prosecutor.

Me thinks if JA has PTSD its because this is the first time in her life that her pathological lying and glib charm haven't "saved" her from trouble/incarceration. Grrrrrrrr.

This psychologist proves the theory that a paid expert witness can be found to say anything you want him/her to say. Pfffffffft!

Just a few observations from today. First, crime scene analysis is often used, but to testify to the physical mechanics supported by the physical evidence. I have never seen a crime scene analysis to determine what the killer was thinking when the crime was committed. Second, JM said there was no research supporting this type of testimony to a "scientific certainty". The defense countered saying there was lot's of research on this subject, dropping the term "to a scientific certainty". This is very important, there has been a lot of research into UFOs, Big Foot and the Loch Ness monster. None of it is conclusive "to a scientific certainty". I would think a polygraph test is much more proven than this mind reading technique, but it still isn't admissible as evidence because it is not proven "to a scientific certainty". Last but not least, remember this guy has been a member of the defense team since the "Ninja" defense story. I have no way of knowing if he is explaining the facts of the case, or they built their defense case around his research. So to me, what all this amounts to is another day with no testimony, an off day in the trial.

She's demonstrating to the jury while he explains the "flat affect".

Guess he missed, "There's something off with that boy."
And:

From Day 27 - Part 1

Screenshot - diary entry:
"know I'll be an excellent wife. In fact, I really
want that. I want to be married. I want
to have a companion. Travis is awesome, no
doubt, but there is just something that is off. I
only know what the spirit whispers to me, and
that is that he's not the one : ( I've spent
over a year o fmy life cultivating a
relationship w/him. I certainly wasn't
thrilled - no - I was DEVASTATED when I
discovered that he wasn't being faithful to
me. I just don't know why men cheat!!!

"...it is justified through the discovery of ugly
hidden truths. Infidelity
is so awful and causes rediculous [sic] pain. (I keep
getting impressions of Hawaii!) Each time the
transgressor seemed grieved that I got hurt.
Actually, not true. Travis seemed mildly
remorseful, but that was it. I'm going to stop
writing about this right now. It's of no benefit.
I could just rip out the last few pages, but I'll
refrain from doing that."

Nothing negative here. No anger. Pure 'pacifism' - sheesh.

I really think that this bit of evidence was faked and "recovered" years later, like the forged pedo letters. It didn't ring true (to me) as the writing style seemed to be written at a different time, and even the handwriting seemed "off".

Acute stress disorder read from DSM 4

subjective sense of numb, detachment, being in a daze, depersonalization , dissociative amnesia . . . . hippocampus doesn't form the memories . . . . .if doesn't form mmory then it will never be available . . . . .

Above is BBM. Doesn't that negate the amnesia, and the memory loss if she has flashbacks and re-experience the events?

And the next expert will do a reading of Sleeping Beauty...

I''ve reduced everything that magazine expert said today to something to do with a HIPPO CAMPUS. It's a school for Hippos where they can learn how to dance. Oh, I know, it's about real brain sections and spelled different, but I like my version better.

Sleeping Beauty will fit in just fine with the hippos! :skip:

"If the memories aren't there, they ain't there."
-- Dr. Richard Samuels' testimony, today 03/14/13.

Really... so when does the 'transient' bit come in, hm?
