Why does everyone think there is a new plea? The DT is fighting for a mistrial, that is why they are in chambers. They want more than a juror ousted, they want a mistrial.

Alexander family wouldn't be in chambers if DT was arguing for a mistrial. Not necessary.

BBM...The accused Murderess can REQUEST that a juror be removed??? That doesn't seem to make much sense! Wouldn't everyone accused of murder be ontop of a loophole like that in effort to 'hedge their bets' of a sympathetic jury??

That is what I read in the motion - don't know where the link is. It stated Jodi Arias requested the juror be removed. Unless it has to read that way for some legal reason.

Can't imagine being that juror is this if somehow successful and they believe that whatever she said has tainted the entire jury pool and a mistrial is declared. Talk about being the most hated person in the US right now. HLN was describing her in way too much detail last night. I'd have to imagine that anyone who knows her, knows who it is. This whole trial is just a mess. Way too much media IMO.

The more I watch ALV, the more I dislike her. In Session is replaying her testimony from last week. She is describing the night JA and Travis spent at the Hugh's home after a PPL meeting ...their first 'sexual encounter':

AVL: "When they go to bed, after everybody is in bed, Mr. Alexander sneaks into her room and starts to kiss her."

How does AVL know that TA "snuck" into JA's room? She is repeating JA's testimony while under Direct and assuming it to be truthful! Does she not realize we're dealing with a pathological liar here??? If the truth be known, it was more likely JA who invited Travis to her room....to seduce him! She had to work FAST to snag him! She had no time to waste! She was broke and soon to be homeless after the Palm Desert foreclosure.

The Prosecution's expert witness cannot come too soon!!! AVL had lost all credibility...she sold her soul to the devil!

I don't like ALV either. At first I wasn't sure what it was about her, but after listening to her further I decided that I just can't stand her "know it all" attitude. She acts like all her warm and fuzzy knowledge actually means something. But if she is that easily lead by a liar like JA, then I just don't think she is all she thinks she is. :seeya:

Tell me about it... I booked or family a spur of the moment vacation in florida to be there when the verdict was read. I felt I had the air sucked out of my lungs when the verdict was announced. It was the worse feeling in the world I've had so far.
