I can't wait for the full interrogation tapes from JA's parents. It sure helps to confirm what we have all come to know and believe about JA. Now if the jury just gets the true picture, even without the tapes and other events/occurrences that weren't permitted, we'll be good

I agree with everything you posted and wanted to add that the DT loves this because they are bringing in TONS of money! JA's defense is being paid by the taxpayers! Why would they try to speed anything up? JA obviously waived her rights to a speedy trial, so those two lawyers are going to milk this for every cent they can before the gravy train runs off the tracks.

Juan is probably on salary and doesn't get paid a dime for any of his work after hours, but I don't think it actually matters to him. I believe he would defend Travis Alexander for free at this point!

I have to imagine that the jury is getting fed up with the slow speed of this trial now. And it is the DT that is holding things up, not the state.

They were probably annoyed about #5 being tossed out as well.

These jurors have put their lives on hold, and they are only actually in the jury box for a few hours a day. Probably only 15 hrs or so a week, on average. They must have been pi$$ed to get sent home early again today.

If JW keeps dragging out this DV witness testimony, she is going to be sorry in the end, imo.

Still, not a legal defense! My point was that "snapping" is not a defense. "Crime of passion" or "snapping" can both be premeditated, BION, but neither is a defense (in AZ).[double doh]

By that point they obviously knew he didn't just "die", he was murdered by someone.

Well, unless I'm mistaken (its happened once or twice before), "snapping" is not a legal defense; therefore, I'd have to ask the NP to answer a simple question and that is, "is JA guilty or not guilty"?

If she were to answer, "not guilty", then she is clearly in her correct line of work and should stay away from any legal work.

People "snap" all the time. In fact, it is such a normal human action, that it is infantile and we all (have to) learn to control it. It's a huge sign of mental maturity; unfortunately, many of us do not learn to control our tempers, rages, or "snapping"; and we are held responsible.

Responsibility is hard for many to swallow. Those that get it and learn to accept it, will do fine in life. Those that do not get it, will be forced to 'get-it'; one way or another. We, as a society, must hold each other accountable and stop the blame-everyone-but-me train!

Who cares if JA "snapped"? I don't. I just want to be sure she is held accountable for "snapping".

If we were all given the freedom (read: excuse) to "snap", when ever we felt we were mistreated, we'd live in a very different environment. I know I don't ever want to live in that environment.

What an insightful post. Such a good description. I have snapped before in dealing with my personal sociopath but I just screamed and cried and broke down. That was my snapping as I could never deliver violence.

I am just thoroughly DISGUSTED WITH THIS JUDGE!!! TO the point that I feel like there needs to be some kind of intervention. I don't know what kind of intervention but obviously this judge has NO GRASP on this trial and how to run and efficient courtroom. She has continually allowed the Defense to get away with entering evidence and testimony that should have NEVER been allowed, the judge has continually delayed this trial, ended early, short court weeks and so on. It is obvious this judge needs a "Come to Jesus" from someone, just not sure who would be the right officials it would be to make her get this trial in check. If court ended early today then court should be running on Friday AND Saturday! NO MORE of this short weeks, ending early, starting at 10:30 ( WHAT IN THE HECK KIND OF HOURS IS THAT ANYWAY???) This trial needs to running 6 days a week starting at 8 AM and ending at 5 or 6 PM every single say from this point forward. The Taxpayers have been charged a exorbitant amount of money for the Defense of this admitted murdering tyrant and they should NOT be BILKED out of any more money than necessary. This is a financial RAPING of the worst kind by this Judge and the Defense and something needs to be done about it.

I've been saying for days now that this Judge should sequester the Jurors and court should be in session, if not all 7 days, then MON - SAT from 9 to 5. This trial is going off the rails and I worry more as each day goes by that a MisTrial might happen. Good Lord Help!

I just needed to vent and to get others opinions and feedback on this and of course that is exactly why I came here to my friends at Websleuths:heartbeat:.. because one thing I do know is that you all know, truly know the actual facts of this case, not the bull$hit fed to the media thru the defense, but the actual facts of this case.. and I just have to hope that these jurors who have seen and heard the evidence up close and personal will see the truth as we do.. that truth being that Travis Victor Alexander IS, WAS, AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN THE ONLY VICTIM THAT THERE IS IN THIS CASE..and that Jodi Arias took his life in the most ultimate of heinous ways for NOTHING BUT PURE SELFISH GAIN AND SATISFACTION..COLD BLOODED BRUTAL SLAUGHTER IS WHAT SHE DID and my God how I am praying that this jury is seeing the TRUTH, and not being blinded by these overboard antics of deflecting and diverting attention away from the facts that this defense team has and continues to do..
