Sipping fatted coffee & thinking how fortunate we are to have a big, clear window on the legal proceedings in a trial that never ceases to startle. Very fortunate, and I feel very appreciative. Another thing I feel is heavy sorrow for the victim's family and dear friends and most of all for Travis, the departed.

I had to come back for the rest of the jury questions! I kept replaying it in my mind yesterday evening and being shocked over some of the answers ALV gave. I don't feel like TA is the kind of person I would have liked much (I'm very unnerved by the "salesman" type) but I just can't get over her testimony and how it doesn't jive with the little I've looked into this case. I've followed it for less time than the jury, and it's clear as day to me this wasn't DV! (on his part.)

Curious to see what transpires today.

Dang, wrote long post about new questions from jury and lost it because the old thread closed!

Took some screen shots from yesterday. JA was def watching jury. Seemed like she did not scan entire jury; my impression is that she is only focusing in on a couple of jurors.

Below is where I saw her get emotional with ALV's testimony...time ref. is from David Lohr's Youtube video.

Yeah emotional because she's afraid the juror with that question will make it into the deliberation room.

JA wasn't "forced" to put on a defense after her demands for a 2nd degree with benefits plea was refused by Mr. Martinez! She could have entered a plea of guilty to murder 1. Easy peasy. Instead, she decided to carry through with her threats and trash, or attempt to, Travis Alexander.

ALV even said, and i think we all know, that the most dangerous time for a DV victim is when they attempt to LEAVE. in this case, TA attempted to 'leave' by telling her to leave him the hell alone. and then she killed him.

fits like a glove to me.

From what I have heard that is one of the most basic tenets of DV. Seems ALV is forgetting this.

O' that's right Travis was the abuser.

Do you guys think I'm too invested in this case? Last night I had a dream that I interviewed the ME, and he said that JA tampered with some of the evidence! LoL! And in the dream I was super excited to come on WS and tell you all what I found out!

Howdy. Thought I'd never be able to get back here. Our internet and cable pooped out for a couple of days on and off so I had access to much of nothing. Must have had some kind of divine intervention because when things were working, I was able to see JM cross and the juror questions. Only thing I missed was Wilmot. And of course I was able to get back here and read posts to catch up. We have the ugly Time Warner. No other choice around here.

On the last thread someone mentioned that Dr. Samuels initially said that the gun went off in the closet, but later corrected himself to the bathroom. I do not remember this...can someone confirm this?
