Thank you, thank you. I listened over and over and just didn't get it. Some great posters on WS gave me help, but I still didn't feel like I understood enough. I missed "the restructured clinical scale" part. I'm certain JW's grating voice and hostile, disorganized, mostly meaningless questions, didn't help my concentration. Thanks![/QUOTE

Every day JW has her 'Finest Moment" :floorlaugh: Today was when she put Dr. Samuels piece of yellow legal paper back up on the over head to question Dr. D. and reminded everyone that instead of giving Jodi an answer sheet to fill in her answers, he gave her a piece of paper and then took her answers and transferred them to an answer form. Thanks for reminding me JW, everytime I think about that it cracks me up.

Tartlemon, Arias does appear at times to show that she enjoying everyone being so wrong - almost as though she enjoys hearing trained professionals give testimony of what happened, and, giving the impression of joy that she has everyone mixed up, fooled, turned around.

I'm not sure if I am making my opinion clear - or understandable. IMO, Arias is guilty of First Degree Murder - I believe that Arias pre-planned the murder of Travis Alexander. Yet, at times, Arias' behavior makes me feel as though Arias is very pleased knowing that no one has figured out exactly how she murdered Travis Alexander.

GREAT POST. I soooo agree with you. I see sheer delight at times when she decides people are clueless about what really happened. I am not sure that jealousy is the primary motive. JMO

OT but They just arrested someone in Boston, they ordered the man to take off his clothes and are taking him into custody as I type this. There was a shooting prior to the arrest. Hopefully they indeed have at least one of the guys responsible for the bombing . Watching on CNN.

Yeah, JW kept wanting to discuss results that JD said were not clinically meaningful, but JW insisted on talking about them anyway, acting as if she knows psychology better than JD.

I boo Willmott all the time, while watching. :)

If she was not caught, she would kill again. She is pure evil.

He made it to the end of the hallway. It's so savage. This was extreme rage and overkill.

I noticed Jodi's glee as well. She's getting off on seeing the photos over and over again (she was that way in interrogation, go back and check it out and listen to her plead to see them). She's loving hearing all these details that are speculated upon and knowing she is the only person alive that knows for sure. That's how I don't understand that this is her first killing - doesn't this read like a serial killer to everyone? Trophies, photos.. no emotion and overkill? I think bits and pieces came out that are honest.

She said something about him remarking to go get help and that he couldn't feel his legs. That he was on all 4's in the hallway. the all 4's part is probably how she attacked his back and head. It's just strange to me how the crime scene is so isolated and nothing is touched or disturbed. She got him very good at the start of it, enough to almost immobilize him, to stun him but how the heck did she get him out to the hall? I assume he was making a run for it and that's when he fell (?) and was maybe on all fours and she attacked. He would have collapsed and rolled over to defend himself (defense wounds).

It is kind of hard to believe that she has never been violent before, yet could steal a gun, and continue to plan out this entire murder, following through in such a brutal fashion. It is so callous and cold hearted.

Night peeps, I'm going to find KCL a miseltoe necklace to go with her fir coat.

I think JA is incapable of jealousy or any emotion. The only reason she got all up in ex's and perceived g/f faces is because she saw them as 'in the way of her goal'. I'm with whoever posted that jealousy was not the reason for the murder of TA. I think TA had the goods on JA and was going to call her out and she in no way could have that and still hang with the PPL men.

JMO!

A cold blooded killer has to start somewhere I suppose. As far as her first killing, I'm going with the 'she killed animals' years ago. Gawd, she makes me sick!

This such an interesting post. I have thought this from beginning. On the stand w/ JM she was ready to telling the sequence 'cause she couldn't resist being Miss Smarty pants.

On another subject, I believe if she gets LWOP she will quickly adjust and just read a lot. Can't have a DP if you don't give it to her, that's why I think she will get death.

BTW - I saw Eileen Wournos do that exact same bent over hair fluff thing before an interview.

It's a little, ahem, petite for me. Can I just stand behind it and sing? Like the Ghost of Christmas Present...serenading.

PS. LMAO

and..
the song Turkey in the Straw...
:furious: if it works its way into my brain when I try to sleep tonight....
I'm squealing to a Mod. :seeya:

I think without a doubt she harmed animals, faked pregnancies and scared her exes. Something in her background is there - seething with rage. Her parents were aware of it, and it's just odd her exes aren't opening up regarding it. If you watch her in the video with TA where she's laying all over him (not unusual) she looks bored, upset and "OVER IT" as she flips her hair and rolls her eyes. She doesn't like him getting attention. I'm thinking she was very rude and very cold when she wasn't getting all the attention.

I know TA comes from a rough background and given the people that are attracted to me - I know I seem to attract people with rough childhoods who are hyper sexual or had past addiction issues. For whatever reason that goes well with BPD people. Maybe something in her reminded him of his mother and all he ran from? But at the same time it was oddly comforting. Just tossing out random things to understand what he saw in her and why he kept feeding into her insanity. Toxic relationships are gasoline on flames, and there's always signs it's toxic long before it gets ugly. By no means am I saying he deserved any of this - at all.

A very astute juror noticed that was not even Jodi's handwriting and if Samuels filled out the paper himself he could have easily manipulated the results. I still do not know what Willy was trying to prove.

I keep thinking how lucky Mimi and any other women Travis dated or was friend with, are lucky to be alive.
If the Cancun trip was a catalyst or trigger for killing Travis, then Jodi's jealousy and rage with regard to Mimi Hall were entirely misplaced and all the more tragic. I re-listened to Mimi's testimony and she said that she and Travis went on three dates between January and March, though they communicated regularly by text and email. Said she knew from the first date that she didn't feel a romantic spark, but he was a fun guy and she didn't want to write him off too soon. Said after the third date she told him that she liked him a lot but just wanted to be friends. They continued to see each other at church and other gatherings. Mimi said the heart-to-heart took place well before he asked her in May to go on the Cancun trip. She said she wanted to think about it for a few days. He assured her that everything was on the up and up (they'd be staying with an LDS family, she would share a room with their daughter, etc). Mimi said a few weeks before the trip she told Travis that he should take someone else (had the feeling that he still held out hope that she would like him in the same way he liked her). He said there was no one else he wanted to take and they agreed to go together as planned.

Was just sent a video of the shooting tonight. :( I'm not going to school today. No way in heck.

Maybe I'll start hiding behind Xmas trees after all.

I don't think she was running for the border either- Scott Peterson and OJ- yes, her-no, I think she was headed back to off Mimi.

I totally agree. Jodi was on a mission, had to act quickly because everyone was on to her.

Not convinced the target was Mimi. I'm thinking more like Chris/Sky Hughes. They've been a target throughout this trial, too.

IMO, Jodi did not kill because of a love of Travis. It was because she needed to eliminate him before he foiled her ultimate plan. Chris/Sky Hughes were very vocal about what Jodi was doing.

That is all true. But that is not what the OP's ORIGINAL point was. Jodi did not have breast cancer or any other issues like that. Again, there is NOTHING wrong with getting implants. But the doctor was just looking at A PATTERN of her choices/decisions and that is one which fits into her changing herself to please her partners spectrum.
I commented on several posts dealing with the Jodi's boob job as it related to the identify disturbance symptom/link to BPD. The link I shared was meant to be "informative" given there had been some general opining (not centered on Jodi) about women who gets breast implants and why.
