I think Jodi was seething with rage that she was not "wife material," so she put this nonsense in her journal. The "something wrong with that boy" was that he viewed her as garbage.

If by that you mean, "He's not falling for it and sees me for what I am," I'll have to agree heartily.

That sounds really irrational

It is irrational. That is the point. Not all larger and stronger men will hurt smaller people. But the events were traumatic enough that I associate larger males with having the ability to harm smaller people in a terrible way. It is a part I have not worked through and may never. Its hard to relate and work through because the trauma(s) that cause the triggers are still vivid. For example, one of the abusive events, caused trauma not only in myself but siblings. It was a terrible event. I remember during it thinking if this is how I am going to die, please do not let my brothers and sisters see it, please don't let them be separated. I did not think about what was happening, I was thinking of my siblings, not myself. They saw what was happening, the blood and the humilitaion. It is more than just being hit. I stayed in a hospital for 6 days afterwards. Not once did I admit that my stepfather did that to me. I was so concerned with my siblings being in a place I could not protect them. Even though everyone knew what had happened. You do not get a broken arm, broken ribs, bruises on your neck and a gash on your head that gets 7 stitches by falling down the stairs because you are a clutz.

I have a long way to go, but I have certainly learned that not everyone is like my parents. It takes a long time to put things in place.

Catching up on yesterday's redirect with Juan.

My, when the 'hiding behind the Christmas tree' was mentioned, boy did Jodi look embarrassed. JW objected and it looked like Jodi was say to JW 'I wasn't hiding' or something.

And Wilmott keeps getting her objections overruled. YAY. This is one of the best parts of the trial, so far, I think.

Talk about a lump of coal.

Is there ANY inside information or really strong "indication of" how the Defense feels about their client Jodi?

Not just "us" saying I bet they can't wait to get rid of her :)

But any real info even a source close to them blah blah even if it's rumor.
Not for anything other than my curiosity. I am wondering if they just love this girl and Willmott thinks of her as a battered little sister and she hates Travis? Or is Willmott playing a role...
I haven't seen any but look at Nurmi's usual clientele. It's probably just a job and if they are as wiley as JB, they may turn to their advantage. I certainly believe Nurmi will. JMOO

Jodi said twice to JW that ....its not in evidence, it's not in evidence
:floorlaugh:

She is a regular little Casey Anthony with her knowledge of law now LOL.
(BTW Jodi scares the bejeebers out of me, Casey, not so much)

You know what really stuck out to me was in that email from JA to TA from Feb 14...
The one which was read in court where Jodi tells TA about her own anger and how lucky she is to have him in her life...there is not one comment about Valentines Day.

Yes, she was just fishing with him, hoping that he would realize he had neglected to send a gift to his one true love. Surely, he would realize that at some point! Girl lives on a different plane of reality.

I am glad to see some lip readers in the house....:seeya:

Yes, if it is not in evidence, then it is not true???

According to JA ... Yes! Her attorneys went to great lengths to keep all her stalking behavior out soooo...

Of course her reaction is (that's not in evidence) as opposed to saying that didn't happen. She's so apparent

Ahh, I really look forward to JW trying to discredit the Walmart & Tesaro reps

So, you don't really know what your return procedures are, right?

Well, the cash register drawers don't open until the receipt and bar code on the item are scanned. (note: I'm making this part up)

But you don't know that for sure, right?

Well, I programmed the enitre system and administer it and there isn't a cash register hooked up to the Walmart system that doesn't work that way.

But you don't really know that, right?

Actually I do.

Let's go back a bit, you are using the most current cover sheet on your TPS reports, right?

(looks puzzled) We don't have TPS reports.

So you're saying you don't use the correct cover sheet.. is that it?

Again, I don't know what a TPS report is.

You're aware that other major discount chains use the TPS report, right?

No.

You've written TPS reports, is that right?

I told you, I don't know what they are.

Well,, I do and damnit, everyone is going to know that.

I have a friend that is an artist and they sold things through WalMart and they said what WalMart didn't sell was returned back to them, so I don't know if that is still in place today, but it stand to reason they would keep very good records of inventory.

I love the Christmas tree objection. :floorlaugh:

Even Jodi looked shocked... but sadly, it's true.

Do we know (I don't) how Dr. D knew about the Christmas tree event? This was the first I had heard of it. As was said on either NG or Dr. Drew last night, there are apparently many stunts that JA pulled that we have never even heard about. I don't get why these haven't been allowed in. Hopefully more will come out in rebuttal.

I mean, hiding behind a Christmas tree, can you imagine? :what:

Guess I'm old...or stupid. What is this? I guess I should google but I'm in a fawg this a.m.

It's Yiddish for "crazy." It's my diagnosis, and I'm sticking to it. It's based on my opinion, which is based on my experience wth mashugana behavior. I wouldn't say it was subjective, though, rather, it is rooted in a wider range of training and experience.

Of course her reaction is (that's not in evidence) as opposed to saying that didn't happen. She's so apparent

That's one of the things that I can't understand and find so troubling, that this DT knows full well that JA was stalking Travis, they know. Yet here they are flat out denying / lying about it in a court of law. How is that not considered unethical, it certainly is in my book.

LOL I haven't heard that since I was little! Thanks for the memory lane, cracks me up :)

(A yiddish term used as an exclamation to describe something as crazy or bizarre)

Thanks for reminding me how ancient I am. I may donate myself to a zoo so they can put me in with the 100 year old Galapagos tortoise.

I'm really sorry, Horace. For what it's worth, I do understand.

It is very puzzling. Leaving it in the washer is a big red flag to: Look At The Camera!

If she would have taken some bleach and a rag...wiped it down and put it in his desk drawer or a shelf maybe it wouldn't have been suspected as having evidence that the killer needed to destroy :banghead:

It's possible that she believed putting the camera through the wash would destroy the camera & wash off her DNA. She had already deleted the photos she wanted to get rid of.

Or, the camera could have been caught up in the pile of bedding & clothes that was in the washer with the camera.

All these claims that she was a photographer are absurd. She took pictures with a digital camera--even children can do that. She didn't know that deleted photos could be accessed. On the stand she said that they could be accessed again "for a lot of money"--which is totally incorrect. There is free software that does just that.

Jodi is not as smart as she thinks she is. The people that found the body immediately informed police who did the murder. That's not a sign of an above-average intelligence killer--and that's why it's likely that the camera was either inadvertently washed or washed to destroy it after she thought the photos she deleted would never be accessed.

I'm with you. Casey was just too stupid to be any meaningful threat to anyone. This one is calculating and devious, with an apparently malignant heart. And leave us not forget, she slit that man's throat from ear to ear down to the spine. That is sufficient for me to wish to have her removed from society permanently.
