9 seconds... is that enough or was it that Baba didn't hear anything and that is why he got mixed up?

I am not sure why he got mixed up, except under his own admission it was a terribly shocking and traumatic morning for him. Memories got jumbled. IMO, he mixed up the order of the calls, so the first one was probably the silent crying one, and so Baba called back to find out what's wrong.

At this point I don't feel it detracts from his overall testimony.

The question was part of my post but it was hypothetical. My hypothetical question wasn't in relation to the legal aspects of it, as I already know that OP is guilty of firing the gun. My question was more in relation to whose version was true, that it was asked of Dareen or offered by him.

Nope, I reckon we may have to witness the rottweiler attack and mauling of Van Ort (?) who is in court today... don't expect it's gonna be pretty but is sure to do away with any feeling of anticlimax!

All the prosecution were trying to show imo was that oscar has severe jealous tendencies, all this lovey dovey stuff when its just the 2 of them involved does nothing to dispell that.

One thing I've learned is the trust and love you build with a partner over months or years can be destroyed in one night by circumstances.

I'm not even sure they were in love but we all define love somewhat differently.

Most people break up in person unless they're chicken and send a text. I think Oscar sent 4 bullets and because I believe she was screaming before hand, I think he knew she was in that toilet room.

I think the states proved their case early on with the witnesses hearing a woman screaming. The rest is just circumstantial evidence.

That puts the burden on Oscars defense to prove to me differently.

People were happy to over-egg the Whatsapp messages, and they're gonna have to listen to this I'm afraid. It may be long-winded, however this is exactly how a fair justice system is supposed to operate.
