Has anyone else noticed that Roux seems to be getting more and more "flustered" as the days pass? Likely because he's seeing the defense he planned disintegrating before his eyes. He's a bullying type and likely a lot of his effectiveness in the past has been in bullying a state witness into expressing doubt about their prior statements. This tactic does not work so well with mature, educated professionals.

What do you think ? :D

A - They will fight on.

B - The forensic, ballistic and post-mortem reports will pull their butt out of the fire.

C - They will prepare a *plea bargain*.

.
.

With his hands covering his groin they will fight on, but in the end Reeva will get justice.

I have to confess one of his attorney on the court room Roxanne Adams is very distracting :blushing:

That is probably on purpose... defendent near not scared good-looker.

Maybe the men are not watching OP's reactions so much either :blushing: .

Precisely my feelings. Face him with someone of equal or above intellect and he gets a bit flumoxed. This probably hasn't happened in many of his cases.

ST has testified that OP had difficulty balancing on his stumps, very interesting because how can such a handicapped man bring into his bedroom two big fans at 3:00 am in the morning WITHOUT turning ON the lights. It never happened!

I don't say you're wrong, far from it.
But it sounds as though he's pretty nimble on the stumps as long as he keeps moving; it's standing still that's not so easy.

In the UK "bottle blondes" tend to be considered as bimbos (definition - A woman regarded as vacuous or as having an exaggerated interest in her sexual appeal). Reeva was naturally a brunette. I wonder what made her change her hair colour.

girlfriend cries about Oscar now one and half years later...hum I would be relieved that it was not me he killed since she cheated on the "runner"...and given that she looks very much like Reva.

This is interesting.

Was he balancing himself with the cricket bat?

When OP used the cricket bat he was on his prosthetics ;)

But how was he able to bring two fans in if he have difficulty balancing ?

Has he tied fifty balloons at each fan so the fans levitated ? :great:

Cunning, our Oscar !
.
.

Well, I guess about now Oscar has missed the Opening Ceremonies for the ParaOlympic Games....*j/k....but actually it's true*

Zwiebel thank you for all the links!

Hey you guys, FYI Pierce Morgan is doing a special on the trial tonight at 9:00 eastern on CNN.

I am a bit shocked about defence lawyer Roux's asides to reporters.

'Everything is fine' (What a witness said Oscar said after he shot Reeva)

'I'm gonna shoot some robots' (What another witness said Oscar said before he shot out of a sunroof).

I think
1) This is a murder trial, it's not funny and witnesses' statements should be respected by defence.
2) It seems like an underhand way to undermine witnesses' words outside of court, where they are in no position to reply.

It's just not cricket, as we say over here - and maybe in SA too.

Why is Pistorus not in jail now? Bond with 1st degree murder?
