Tasha's restaurant now. Lereno(sp) the young boxer had asked for help with his diet. Also Justin and Darren.

O: ...I'd been looking at purchasing a gun similar, it was smaller than mine....I wanted to see if it had an attachment for a flashlight. I asked him to pass it to me. I was stupid. I wanted to make sure it was safe, wasn't loaded. As I checked it, a round came out of the breech. Nxt thing I knew, it went off.

I was quite angry Darren Mr Fresco had handed me an unsafe weapon. I gave it back and said 'What if someone had got hurt?'

Then Darren told the party it got hooked on his pants.....I believe we were both to blame.....he told me not to say anything.

R: Did you say anything about the media?

O: Not at that point.....I said how it would look if it got out? Did her realise the severity? Dareen kept coming up with excuses.

OP said he told the owner it was 'my fault. I'll pay for the damages'.

O is now criticizing the restaurant owner's wife for 'joking' about such a serious incident. Didn't she realise someone could have got hurt?

He is really blaming Darren for this.....

Just as predicted: OP blames Darren Fresco for the gun going off.

Denying that he asked Darren to take the blame.

Why am I not surprised.

OP paid the restaurant bill - so I guess that makes it all right, after all, he picked up the tab.

I thought he said they were both to blame?

I'm lost. Talking about a .38 now, and not having one, but having ammo for it?

In an unkind interpretation of #OscarPistorius, he blames crime, fear, lies, stupidity (not yet his own, but maybe later) for everything.

Finally, from his own mouth, #OscarPistorius defence on firearm charges: (former) friends lied or were stupid.

Fresco and Lerena both testified that Fresco told OP that the gun was 'one-up' as he handed the gun to OP. Now OP wants the Judge to believe that he had no idea the gun was loaded.

I think I'll believe Fresco and Lerena.

O: That day I woke up in my house in P. Reeva had stayed over....I had to leave early. I got to Joburg an hour early, met up with a friend. Then I had a meeting until 12....I thought Reeva was coming back to Joburg.....I phoned estate agents and met him. Not sure why. I remember from the msg saying I'm meeting Ryan.

Then I met Justin. He was meeting a friend for dinner, asked if I wanted to come. I met a close friend of Reeva's, she said she would call Reeva.

.38 bullets were found in his safe. He claims they were his father's and thought the law allowed him to keep them for him. It is however an offence. However, on record is the fact he had ordered 6 guns in the previous few weeks, one of them being a .38 gun, though none had been delivered.

I thought he was estranged from his father. This excuse sounded tame at the time.

He has denied shooting through the car sunroof BUT he knows 2 people have testified that he did. Nel will tear him apart for that, amongst other things. This is definitely an adjusted testimony and not the truth.

Yes, and whilst ST may have had reason to embelish it, there was no reason for DF to have done.

It was his fathers, doncha know. He's never had a .38 and didn't realize safeguarding illegal ammunition was still illegal.

Reeva preparing dinner at 6.30'ish. How long did it take? What did they eat? Makes the food in her stomach very important. We are talking about her death at 8'ish hours after ingestion. DOH!

IMO the fact he is going so fast, and the judge keeps having to stop him, gives his testimony an extremely rehearsed feel. Under cross that of course won't be possible!

Now talking about msgs between him and Reeva, and how Reeva decided to stay at his house in Pretoria, so OP said he would go back there too. R asked him if he wanted her to cook dinner....she went to go get food for dinner. I arrived home shortly after 6pm.

Judge tells him to slow down.

When he got home, door was locked and dogs 'running around'.

Reeva was cooking. He went upstairs, showered and changed. About 7pm, he went back downstairs.

Roux asks him about ipad use.

“Nearly one third (31.7 percent) of the homicides occurred during a family argument”

FromMinor: http://www.dangerassessment.net/upl...ality_Risk_Assessment_Instrument-Campbell.pdf

“In a study of risk factors women being murdered in their homes, the vast majority of the time by a current or former intimate partner, Bailey et al. found that mental illness, illicit drug use, prior criminal involvement, and the presence of firearms in the home were each independently associated with increased risk of homicide to female household members. These risk factors are salient whether or not there is clear intent of murder, which is often difficult to ascertain…”

For a short relationship there seemed to be quite a bit of stress about money, his fame, previous partners, appearances, outside influences like media and friends, fans. The fact that Steenkamp is already dead from a partner shooting, plus the testimony from experts and neighbours that Steenkamp screamed is a signal that there was a dysfunctional altercation leading to the victim's death. Pistorius has markers of an uncontrolled personality who could shoot out of frustration or anger.

O: I was surfing the net, looking at cars...

lost my flipping feed.

No excuse, methinks, and he passed the test about all that surrounding owning a firearm!

Roux is having to literally pry the *advertiser censored* thing out of OP! :floorlaugh: Just say it Osca'!
