Roux is up. I knew he would be.....

R: I don't want to put anything in the mouth of anyone

He doesn't want Nel mentioning bail appli at the same time.

It had to be changed once it was agreed that Hilton Botha was so wide of the mark, that's why the state's proposal doesn't fit the witnesses timelines.

Whether OP's lying or not, it can't be disputed that his version is able to fit exactly to the witnesses timelines.
We also need to bear in mind that OP had absolutely no knowledge of what the witnesses would say at the time of his statement.
It may not be the truth, but if it's not he's got a great deal of luck on his side.

Heaven forbid the best defence team money could buy made his story fit, well I never.

Blaming Reeva again .. "I wish she had screamed, I wish she had let me know"

O: I don't think anyone could say where she would have stood if she thought I was-if she was scared...

OP saying she was involved in a 'similar incident in her life where she was locked away'.

N: Did she scream at all after you shot her four time...

O: No.

N: Sure AND OP is NOT answering. Big sigh, distress....

O: At no point did Reeva shout out or scream. I wish she did..(crying)

Please read the bit I have bolded!! " If she thought I was"

Isn't that a really telling slip?

I have to seriously wonder how and WHY anyone would be supporting Oscar at this point. It's almost embarrassing how false and pathetic his 'story' is.

There is no probable evidence to point that he had any reason to kill her maliciously that night. Accidentally, yes. But on purpose? Her, RS, specifically? No.

And that is why I am supporting that part of the case as OP is trying to 'put it to the world' what happened that night.

Good point about sound of gunshot.
I saw online that someone tested that parabellum, and got 160 db when firing it. (Momentary) deafening, if not wearing protectors.

Judge tells N he must quote from the actual bail statement if he wants to use it, and I don't think N has it with him.

"Heard door opening"
Sea change

And immediately realizes the change, and a big and bad one from BH affidavit and Plea etc.
So he canages to "I perceived that I heard the door opening"--meaning in his langiuage that he did not really hear the door opening.
Only wrongly, mistakenly (or accidentally) perceived that he heard door opening.

N: You;re standing in the bthrm, shouting and screaming at Reeva, what happened then?

Now OP is saying a noise 'like wood moving, like door opening'

N: That's the first time...that's not in the record.

O: I didn't say I heard the door opening. I said I thought I heard the door opening.

O: I discharged the firearm...Iheard a noise from inside the toilet...Ithought someone was coming out to attack me..

N: Why would you think that?

O: Becaue I heard a noise coming from inside the toilet....perceived the door was opening

IMO, Nel closing in on definite win for Culpable Homicide right now, if nothing else...

How can he possibly have heard the door opening? The door was locked. The first step in opening a door is to unlock it.

If you were questioing OP, he would change to saying he heard the door unlocking.

Good. I think everyone needs a break, including us.

I know the US and Canadians need sleep! lol

Rats, lost my last post. Recon

N: You knew it was Reeva behind the door and you shot her.

O: That's not true milady.

Adjourned until Mon 9.30am.
