Witness now explaining why he disagrees with Prof Saayman over hip wound but concedes he is not a ballistic expert and was not at the post mortem.

ETA, no I think they maybe said back wound.

It's the arm wound, he's saying he observed wounds made my wood splinters that prof Saayman missed - oh my

Roux up. Wants witness to be able to see pic first and answer 'after teatime'.

Time must be passing slow for Roux. He has forgotten we already had tea.....

Nel wants to know when witness got involved in the case.

D: It was day of bail hearing. Phone Call, asked if I would be willing to assist...

Wouldn't the washing of the body be specifically recorded by the person doing the autopsy?

Wonder who will play Dixon when this little lot is turned into a film?

If this is turned into a movie, everyone will walk out and demand a refund, because it is so unbelievable. :twocents:

I can't believe that the door has been unnecessarily handled whilst it's in court. Cleaning? OMG!

BIB Don't worry, this "expert" says that OP's sock fibers are still bonded to the door, he can determine that just by looking closely. No worries...

Indeedy! His eyes are his instruments!

Ohh .. can't we not just move onto the next witness .. pleease!

.. anyone got any paracetamol, I've got a thumping headache now after all this :anguish:
I sympathise with you .
My blood pressure has been going up steadily during this trial so I have resorted to walking on my treadmill and reading at the same time .

Wonder if these were the ladies in white with the balloons waiting for Oscar to arrive at court the other day LOL

Cold blooded male celebrity murderers do have their share of women admirers and supporters, their public display of affection is spooky, but nothing can be done about it, all we can do is take pity on their disturbed souls.

Oscars got his face in his hands now.
Even he can't believe it!!!

I am just on audio, but they are going thru pics of wounds, including one on buttock.

D: I looked at Prf S's testimony...contusion.....consistent with.....as I'm not a wound statitician/wound expert/no medical training etc....that is why I disagree with his findings...

Oh. My. Gosh.

BIB Don't worry, this "expert" says that OP's sock fibers are still bonded to the door, he can determine that just by looking closely. No worries...

He extrapolated results about the fibers and the marks of the door, months later at the trial because he took photo’s in court March 13 as the lighting of the court was: “Gooood and nice.”

Except the cleaning ladies had already started the cleaning the door, with a mutton cloth. *Dixonpalm*

Witness now explaining why he didn't think it important to have the complete photo. He promises he will bring them tomorrow for Nel.

I'm sitting here looking at his notes and can't help but compare them to my grocery lists. He doesn't even have them in a file or notebook.

And what about the photo he took of the door in the courtroom? He could tell by his eyes that the fibers on the door came from OP's sock and not a cloth used by the cleaners.

:scared:

Mel

What could be the repercussions of this door being cleaned in court ?
Please don't tell me it could be excluded as evidence in the event of an appeal .

This is really bad.

This is all beyond the pale.

The door has been cleaned...

Took the pics after the door was already in the courtroom.

Wanted good lighting.

er..., um....didn't he also testify as a lighting expert earlier? You'd think he would have had resources to backlight when the door was still in OP's house, no?
