N: Where did you get that information (where OP called)

D starts to lecture. Nel interrupts and repeats question. Oldwage objects.

Judge: Nothing wrong with that.

O concedes.

The witness is now running the show. What is Nel there for then? smh

D: That was told to me by Mr P himself.

N: Is that the only source?

D: No. I read the record.

D explains consulted with Mr P twice -before trial started and week before court was suspended (for OP observation)

D: It was a summary of both occasions...

N: I'm sure you kept notes and can refer to them if the court asks?

D: ...I did not take notes...

He asked OP what happened that night. OP described it to him. He didn't take any notes.
Nel says the responsible thing to do is to take notes of what was said.

Nel asked when he recorded that. He said he'd been working on the report for a long time.

I like watching the facial expressions by the fellow with glasses seated to Nel's left.

N:...Is it not the responsible thing to do to keep notes...?

D: Milady here are my notes, this is my understanding of what was told to me...

N asks 'When?'

D: This must have been before...I don't recall changing anything...

N: Before what?

D does not know when he talked to OP the first time for his report.

N: Pls Prof, I will direct qquestions they way I wld like to, Sir.

Nel pursuing a date Prof talked with OP.

I hope Nel is going somewhere with this or I'll have to agree with Minor4th that Nel has nothing.

Nel: Where did you get this info in pars 46 and 47? WD reads: OP informed me of the events of the 14th.

WD says the version (of night of killing) referred to in his report is a summary of both occasions he had with Pistorius.

Nel: If you're consulting, Is not the responsible thing to do to keep notes of what was said?

Nel: You're an expert, you should take notes.

WD being disrespectful to the court imo. He is being exceptionally deceptive. jmo

Nel asks when he recorded the information, before or after the trial started.
Says it must have been when the trial started. It was a long time between the first time OP told him about and the second occasion.
Nel is worried about that.

Tea break.

D: I cannot recall the exact date.

I think O was objecting in background then and Nel asks for tea.

And judge reminds witness he is supposed to be addressing the court, not Nel.

OP was laughing, again. Glad that he is enjoying the $2M (US) show that he is paying for.

Masipa reminds the professor that he's addressing the Court, not Nel.
