R: Only solution state has is, 'you don't have to prove everything'. We agree.

But you can't say there's a slight possibility of (lists) and say it's a fact

Roux: can the court find that the only reasonable inference is that the shots were fired at 3:17? It cannot be. BB

R: Prof s said she must have eaten two hours before death, about 1 or quarter past, according to state.

That's NOT his evidence. He SUGGESTs but says you must give an hour or so. So she (Reeva) could have eaten anytime from 11pm.

Roux says Prof Simon suggests Reeva ate anywhere between 11 pm to 1 am. NOT 1 am.

R: In the bedroom of Mrs Burger it (sound) was def hard to be audible and def not intelligible....Mrs B's evidence of hearing sounds, compared to her husbands - he said it wasn't clear in the bedroom....if she heard emotion, if she was truthful...if she was truthful....it could not have been from the toilet.

It must have been outside the toilet. Who was outside the toilet? The accused....Acoustic evidence supports accused version.

WHY could it not have been from the toilet? Was the toilet door soundproof? I have a toilet next to the bathroom (door between) and definitely screaming from the toilet would be heard outside if the bathroom window was open.

Just realised, that is the original of the image in my signature, isn't it ..

.. beautiful girl, I hope justice is served for you and what you went through.

Yes it is! That's really nice. I picked up the photo on google images. There are so many, but this one seemed so natural and really shows her essence.

R: State told us deceased had eaten hours before she was killed. Something happened to change that....When Prof S opened the duodenum, he did not say that. Later, state decided, well, perhaps....

She appears to be taking Roux to task a lot more today than she did Nel yesterday, and more crossly so, too.

SBM

Didn't someone post in yesterday's thread that which ever side the judge questions most will end up being the losing side?? Or something to that effect?

Roux now saying he doesn't know if Reeva got up in the night and ate. Says state confused about if she could work alarms and if they were on. But that nothing supports state case they were downstairs eating.

R: We know one thing, OP said he came home around 7pm and Reeva was preparing stir fry chicken. He was very busy on his electronics equipment but no activity between 7 and about quarter to 8. It makes sense.

Roux : an athlete would not go down at 1 am to eat. Doesn't make sense at all. She might have gone down, she might have been peckish, we just don't know.

R: Is it likely an athlete and model, with dinner ready on the table at 7pm, would leave it and go upstairs?

R: I would never in my life suggest that Prof Simon would make an untrue submission. But it's just a suggestion. He's just suggesting with his evidence.

Karyn Maughan ‏@karynmaughan 3m

Roux: after supper, Oscar and Reeva had a warm drink. You can see the mugs in the police photos, on bedside tables @eNCAnews

R: Prof Simon said digestion does not stop after death...on his own evidence, enzymes would have caused further digestion. So why could he still identify stomach contents so many hours later?
